He had only been meaning to make a call to check up on his brothers when his finger had slipped to the 'video-all' button when he was startled by his shadow suddenly materializing out of who knows where.  The phone is forgotten and you're treated to a nice view of the ceiling for this discussion.]

Poor 666 and 667, they tried so hard to help you, and nearly broke their hearts in the process. We tried too, didn't we? Not hard enough that's for sure. Father was always good at manipulating us to get what he wanted.

It's alright, that question doesn't really bother me. I know I'm not a saint.

Mostly, I've wanted more peace and quiet, more time for my Division to actually finish its projects in and...more attention from Shion.

It suits you. [Gaignun doesn't mind that you were amused. He just didn't want Allen to know that maybe he could cheat in some of those business meetings. Or that his shadow could do it.]

I guess. At least I can stop spending Dark Hour looking for where my Shadow hid its body now that it's gone...at least, I'm assuming it didn't just turn invisible or go back to its body. You can't see it either, right?

[It's not that he's dismissing Allen, far from it as he has been enjoying this chat with the engineer, but still. There was his shadow to worry about and he didn't want to keep Allen from actually doing something productive. Like sleeping.]
