[Issei is knocking on his friends' doors and giving them their gifts today. Why today? He's worried about being indisposed at Christmas.

What are his gifts? Bouquets. Each with a different kind of flower. If the door isn't answered when he knocks, he'll leave the flowers wrapped up nicely by their door with a note that reads simply "Merry Christmas. - Ryudo Issei."

Emiya forgives easily. Far more than he should.

Arturia's forgiveness, however, is not given so easily. At least not to herself.

...I understand. That will be more difficult and I'm afraid I have no suggestions.

I should have realized what that Shadow could do as soon as I saw his--my Noble Phantasms. If I had just been thinking straight I could have kept him away from Arturia and every other woman in this city.

I could have prevented this, and now she's suffering for my mistake. There has to be some way I can convince her she's not responsible for this.

She could talk to Grainne and realize that every woman near you makes bad decisions.

It's not so simple. I've explained to her magecraft was in effect, I've done all I can to make her realize that.

But...it's not in effect now, yet she still cares for me the same way I care for her. And that in itself are unforgivable betrayals of both Emiya and Grainne for us.

It isn't her fault and it isn't mine. But thinking this way is not something either of us can truly forgive ourselves for, even if things should reach a proper resolution. People like us value loyalty above even our own lives, and this...it's just not right, even if we can't stop it.

I never hated it. I was given difficult circumstances and did the best that I could with them--it's as simple as that.
