Something of a moot point, though not entirely. It's locked off until one's able to communicate with a summoning spirit.

Summoning spirit... you mean the "Persona" things I heard about? It wasn't quite explained to me...

The way I had it explained was that they're some sort of strange manifestation of one's inner personality, but no one really knows what triggers their appearance. Once they appear the first time, it's easy enough to summon repeatedly...

I see... that sounds most useful, but if it's unknown how to trigger it, it would be dangerous to rely on until that happens.
