[This device is easily the most fascinating thing she's ever owned. She's not sure she's seen anything like it, not even in Hatter's domain. It's clear that it's not a weapon. But it appears to be activated, so it must be doing something.]

I am not entirely sure what this is for. On that subject, I'm not entirely sure where I am. It doesn't look like anything I've imagined in the past. It doesn't even look like dreary old London. Did I fall asleep and wake up here? [She looks confused.]

And where is that blasted cat? I heard him speaking to me earlier, or Pris really is just a benevolent old granny.

He's the only cat that ever does. You'd notice him right away.

[She figures whether or not this really is the real world or part of her mind will become clear soon. He'll either accept that as the truth or be like everyone else - patronizing or scared. She's not sure which is worse.]

Only to Wonderland. But it's so big that it seems like more than one place sometimes. I have never been to Prospero.

They keep telling me. [And so many people that look like...well, people. Not talking flowers or animals or cards. He'll be along if he feels like it. Hard to tell with that cat. He'll probably show up at the most annoying moment possible. That's usually how he does things.

Sounds like a pretty amazing cat, I'd say. [Chuckling to himself. Sure don't know what kind of cat that is.] What does your cat look like?

He would say so. [Stubborn, she is not going to compliment him directly. What if by chance he actually hears her?]

Well, he's gray with black markings and rather big for a cat. He also has a silver hoop in one of his ears and he looks as though he is purposely trying to starve to death. Though I don't know why. He's one of the saner inhabitants of Wonderland, not that that says much. His eyes are yellow and he has a constant cheeky grin.

So do I. And most of them are cute. I had Dinah and her kittens. But this cat isn't Dinah and neither is he cute.
