Chapter 1 - Video post 1

[This device is easily the most fascinating thing she's ever owned. She's not sure she's seen anything like it, not even in Hatter's domain. It's clear that it's not a weapon. But it appears to be activated, so it must be doing something.]

I am not entirely sure what this is for. On that subject, I'm not entirely sure where I am. It doesn't look like anything I've imagined in the past. It doesn't even look like dreary old London. Did I fall asleep and wake up here? [She looks confused.]

And where is that blasted cat? I heard him speaking to me earlier, or Pris really is just a benevolent old granny.

You're in the city of Prospero.

[Says the shota appearing on the video feed.] I don't think your cat came with ya when you were transported here.

They keep telling me. [And so many people that look like...well, people. Not talking flowers or animals or cards. He'll be along if he feels like it. Hard to tell with that cat. He'll probably show up at the most annoying moment possible. That's usually how he does things.

Sounds like a pretty amazing cat, I'd say. [Chuckling to himself. Sure don't know what kind of cat that is.] What does your cat look like?

He would say so. [Stubborn, she is not going to compliment him directly. What if by chance he actually hears her?]

Well, he's gray with black markings and rather big for a cat. He also has a silver hoop in one of his ears and he looks as though he is purposely trying to starve to death. Though I don't know why. He's one of the saner inhabitants of Wonderland, not that that says much. His eyes are yellow and he has a constant cheeky grin.

[Alice. Why so tsun tsun.

Meanwhile, Jr. tries to remember if he's seen a cat that fits the description wandering around the city.]

Can't say I've seen your cat... If you want, though, I can try helping you find him.

I thank you for the offer. However, the only way to find him is if he wants to be found. And usually he finds me.

What kind of cat is this? Doesn't sound like an ordinary cat.

He's not. He calls himself the Cheshire Cat.

... Cheshire Cat?

[WAIT... Hold on a second...] Er... What did you say your name was?

I didn't say. I suppose in the excitement I forgot my manners. I'm Alice. Alice Liddel.

[FOURTH WALL. IT HAS. BEEN. BROKEN.]

So uh... What kind of world do ya come from?

[Indeed. :3]

London is pretty ordinary. It has it's good and bad people - as I suppose is the same everywhere. Most of the time it's not that eventful.

... so you're not from a place called Wonderland, right?

Only on my better days and even those are questionable.

....I would like to go back there. [She needs to know that what she's been through has not been in vain.]

What's waitin for you there?

I don't know. That's the thing that concerns me most.
