[April has never really celebrated a holiday where you give gifts to others, so she wasn't really sure what to give people at first. Combine that with the fact that she really wants to give people good gifts for Christmas resulted in a rather panicky April, but she soon decided to make things for people. So, today she'll be going around and delivering these gifts to people, each wrapped simple wrapping and in small-ish packages:

Ledah: An apple cake plus a handmade red scarf .

Devola: An angel's food cake.

Neah: A blue velvet cake.

Karna: A honey and spice cake.

Saori: A cookie cake.

Miki: Some candy canes ~~since Miki isn't a fan of pastries~~.

Kaiji: A rum cake.

And if you're not on the list and you know April? Then you'll be getting package of Christmas cupcakes.

She'll be going around to peoples rooms to deliver them (luckily she made the food small enough for one person to eat), and if you aren't in, she'll leave the package at your door with a note saying “Merry Christmas! - From April”. (Though in the case of her roommate, she'll leave his presents on the table in their room if he isn't there when she goes to give them to him.)

Hey, Devola. [There is now one box containing cake being offered to her.] Here, this is for you.

Ooh, new box. Thank you~

[Insincerity? You betcha. Devola takes a peek in the box and her eyebrows raise up slightly.]

Oh woah. These are kinda hard to make, aren't they?

[She'd be more surprised if April had just bought the cake, rather than made it herself.]

[At least it's a pretty box.

Anyway, April expression turns a bit sheepish.]

Y-yeah, they are. But I think it came out pretty well.

[Why buy it when you can make it... Even if it does take a few attempts and results in a messy hotel kitchen.]

It looks great. No doubts that the taste will match the appearance, either.

[A sudden epiphany strikes her.]

Will it be considered rude if I get you to help me eat this, at some point? Because I'm, er, pretty sure I won't be able to eat the whole thing on my own... I'd feel really bad if it went to waste, too.

Nah, it wouldn't be considered rude. I would be happy to help, since I did make it kinda big.

Do I detect a hint of al-ter-ior motives~?

[Every extra-stressed syllable led Devola's mischievous grin to grow in size. The end result being a smile the Cheshire Cat would envy.]

[A blink, before she giggles and grins back.]

Well, I can never say 'no' to food.

Aha, so you confess your sin? Well, I'll absolve you of your guilt so long as you lend a hand. Jaw. Whichever. You get what I mean.

Hehe, yep, I confess. And I'll be happy to lend a hand and jaw and whatever else is required.

Dually noted. Stop by when you're done making the rounds, if you're not busy then. That gives me a bit of time to clean up, too!

[April would receive a small salute before the other woman turned back into her room, not bothering to shut the door. Time to tidy up. What a mess, what a mess...!]

[April giggles and has another nosy peer at the room before she goes to finish her rounds.

And just as she said, April soon returns after a short while.]

[Devola's still doing a bit of clean-up when April's back. A few tiny tools -- suited for messing with a computer, lie on a table, as well as small pile of... stuff. Mechanisms, perhaps.]

[The rooms occupant has wits enough about her still to sense an intrusion, and so she looks up to April and gives her a wave.]

Hmm. I think ya beat me.

[April giggles and gives her a wave back, before the tools and pile of stuff catch her attention. And being nosy, she peers at them curiously.]

What's all this?

Christmas presents in the works. I'm going to be a pinch late, I'm afraid...

[April was offered a sheepish smile to go with the confession.]

[She gives a reassuring smile in return.] I'm sure it'll be all right! Though I can't help admit that I'm curious about what you're making...

This? Well, I've got one of the finished products here -- yours, actually. I didn't wrap it yet, though...

[The questioning look on her face is easily read, "do you want to forego the joy of shredding paper and skip straight to the discovery?"]
