[009: Action]

[April has never really celebrated a holiday where you give gifts to others, so she wasn't really sure what to give people at first. Combine that with the fact that she really wants to give people good gifts for Christmas resulted in a rather panicky April, but she soon decided to make things for people. So, today she'll be going around and delivering these gifts to people, each wrapped simple wrapping and in small-ish packages:

Ledah: An apple cake plus a handmade red scarf .

Devola: An angel's food cake.

Neah: A blue velvet cake.

Karna: A honey and spice cake.

Saori: A cookie cake.

Miki: Some candy canes ~~since Miki isn't a fan of pastries~~.

Kaiji: A rum cake.

And if you're not on the list and you know April? Then you'll be getting package of Christmas cupcakes.

She'll be going around to peoples rooms to deliver them (luckily she made the food small enough for one person to eat), and if you aren't in, she'll leave the package at your door with a note saying “Merry Christmas! - From April”. (Though in the case of her roommate, she'll leave his presents on the table in their room if he isn't there when she goes to give them to him.)

[Awkwardly, Ledah returns the hug.] I thought you might do this.

Well, you have made me really happy.

... T-though I, ah, apologize for what I'm about to do.

[And with that, she pulls back a bit to very lightly and briefly kiss him on the cheek, before pulling away completely with a sheepish look.]

[Why is his face heating up? What are these emotions? He has no idea why a small action is completely unbalancing him.]

...Y-you're forgiven.

[The sheepish look disappears as April starts to look concerned; she's pretty sure she's never heard him stutter before.]

... Are you okay, Ledah?

Hm? I'm fine.

[Although still blushing.]

[She tilts her head before peering at him, still looking concerned.]

Um, but your face has gone red. You sure you're okay?

I don't feel ill, and I don't see how you kissing me would have triggered an onset of that.

[April also blushes faintly when he mentions her kissing him, before she coughs awkwardly.] Um, well, when people turn red, it's probably because they're embarrassed...

[Though she doesn't think that Ledah would have any sort of reaction to the kiss, besides maybe confusion. So she's silent as she thinks for a moment.]

Ah, I'm just gonna quickly try something. Sorry in advance about this. [And this is when she moves closer and gently presses a hand to his forehead.]

I don't believe I have a fever.

[April "Hmm"s to herself, before pulling back.]

Then I'm not sure why... Did you, um, feel anything when I k-kissed you?

Yes, but I'm having difficulty pinning down what.

[Another thoughtful hum as she rubs the back of her neck.] D-do you think you can describe it?

It's... warm, in ways that have nothing to do with my actual temperature.

[She frowns as she thinks; she felt like she had an idea, but she was quick to discard it, since she thinks there's no way it could be that.] Hmmm... Was there any, um, discomfort or anything like that?

Ehe, s-sorry. Kisses on the cheek is how my friends back home and I showed gratitude to each other when we were really happy. And you made me really happy, s-so that's why I...

[She trails off and coughs awkwardly again, before changing the subject.] But, did it make you mad or annoyed or anything like that?

Not at all.

[He's sure of that much, at least.]

[So he didn't go red with anger then. Cue more thinking.]... Do you think that it's maybe a good feeling?

It... very well might be.

[Now she's blushing again, but she's quick to try and force it away.] W-well, I, um... I-I guess at least I don't have to w-worry about you getting mad at me if I do that again. [Weak attempt at a joke.]

I don't believe I would mind.

[There's silence for a moment or two as April goes back to thinking.

Then she leans forward to gently kiss him on the cheek again.]

[He smiles softly, although he has a flurry of confusing emotions.]

[When she pulls away, she gives him a small, if nervous smile.] W-were you okay with that?

As a matter of fact, I was.
