[Beato had been a very busy girl the last few days. Some kind soul pointed her to the nearest store and that was good enough to get what she needed. She hadn't a lot of money, but she had managed a nice spread of sweets and enough tea to meet demand, she thought. She had promised to have V/V over for a tea party and though this wasn't the kind of finery she was used to, it would do just to have a few people over. After a bit of fiddling, a very accomplished looking Beato will now show up on the handy device everyone uses so much.]

Good afternoon, all.
I know you're all busy so I'll be brief. I promised my little angel friend a tea party in her honor. Apparently something like that isn't common here? At any rate, V/V, I'd love for you to come over. I'm in room 709 and I have fresh tea and cookies waiting. Oh, and also that girl with the red hair who I talked to recently. She is personally invited as well.

If any of you would like to join, you're welcome to. Just don't expect much. This is quite a small room, after all.

Ah, it's no trouble at all.
I'm a very good hostess, but not a very good server. I do hope everything looks alright.

[Carefully, she'll place a few cookies on the small plate before her. She'd reach for the teapot next and tip it into her cup.]

Now, you'll have to add your own extras since I'm not sure what you'll want in it, but I have milk, sugar, and honey so we can see what you like.

It all looks delicious. You don't have to worry at all.

We have little get-togethers like this all the time where I come from.
I make sure of that. I wish I could show you the lovely treats my butler Ronove makes. You'd think this was plain compared to that.

I think this is wonderful, so maybe I shouldn't see Ronove's treats. I like these the way they are.

That sounds wonderful. If it's your favorite way to have it it must be tasty.

Oh, I think so. But then I like sweets. You'll have to tell me what you think.

[Having said so, she'd lean over a bit and add a few teaspoons of sugar and enough milk to lighten to liquid in the cup.]

Either way, if it's not to your liking, I can make another cup. So, try not to be too accommodating, alright?

I would have sent you a written invitation, but I never bothered to ask where you're staying. Ugh, there's so much I'm going to have to learn here. It's a bother, really.

Good to know. And who is this Godo fellow? A friend of yours?

He's my roommate and also the only person who comes from my home, the Land of Steel. We met when he killed my original body.

Well, if it was just your body that died and not your spirit, I can possibly agree with that.
At least he knows your situation. I'd say it's good to have someone to talk to from home, but you told me it was an ugly place. Do you two get along well?

And I'm so glad you like it. You know, you don't have to wait for an occasion. You can come by for tea anytime, really. I don't mind the company.

I would love to. There are so many things to do here and so many people to visit, though, that I can't come all the time. Is that okay?

[That would trigger a hearty giggle.]

It's a nice way to pass the time, is it not?
