On another personal note, who would suggest a weapon suitable for a girl ten years of age?

People aren't still starving en masse or blowing each other up, mostly, so I guess so.

Hey, I love Germany, but my calling is outside any one country or politics. As long as I can live in peace in between fighting monsters, I say more power to whomever has it.

Oh, and about the weapon...if you really insist, I'd get a spear. Otherwise everything will outreach you, and any ranged weapons worth a damn either don't work with short arms or no one in this town will sell to a kid.

Anyway, guns are more dangerous to other people on your side than spears. No offense, but anything big enough to hurt a Shadow would probably jump right out of your arms from recoil, and who knows where the shot would end up.
