Keeping a good distance is the best when you are smaller sized.

I have every intention of doing so. It's a pity I'm without magic here.

Then you should consider guns.

I heard they had those here as well.

I've had that confirmed for me, although I hadn't heard of them before this.

I've never used one myself, but they were popular back in my world.
