[Some of you may have noticed that Ledah was missing from the city yesterday! Well, wonder no more about it, because Ledah is holding up the phone with one shaky hand. Bloodstains are visible on his white cravat and slightly less noticeable on his red robes, and he looks badly shaken.]

[So to the hotel they go, and April pretty much sticks to Ledah's side until they get to their room.]

[Ledah sits down carefully.] It hasn't changed much. How long have I been gone?

You've only been gone for a day. [April stays standing, her panic and nerves not letting her relax yet.]

Oh. That's good. [Ledah sighs in relief.]

Yeah, so you haven't missed anything.

[After a moment, she walks closer, her expression concerned.] ... How're you feeling?

...Shaken, I think. My master whose plans I did so much for went against the will of the gods the entire time.

[... Ohgeez.] I... T-that's horrible.

[And now he's getting another hug.]

[He hugs her back.] It's all right.

... I really don't like your master. [Her arms tighten around him a bit more, and considering how friendly April is to practically everyone, the fact she's doesn't like his master is saying a lot.]

The only one who likes him is Malice, and she has nothing but fanatical devotion. Everyone else hates him.

I'm not surprised, since he sounds like a bastard. [She pulls away from him, so that she can take a seat next to him.]

... I-is... there anything I can do to try to help you?

[Action]

Just stay with me for a while.

[Action]

Of course. I'll stay with you for as long as you need me to.

[Ledah rests his head on her shoulder.]

[April wraps her arms around him again, holding him close. She'll stay like this for as long as he wants her to.]

[After a while, Ledah pulls away a little.] Thank you, April.

[She gives him a small, soft smile.] It's nothing. I... don't like seeing you in pain, so I'll do whatever I can to help.

[She sits back a bit, her expression turning somber.]

... Um, is it okay if I was exactly what happened? I... know you took an attack for Ein, but how did it lead to that?

[He sighs.]

There are three Grim Angels I know of now awake. Ein, who turned from the gods' mission and has been helping Riviera; Malice, who is loyally devoted to Hector and nothing else; and myself.

My mission was to destroy the Aquariums that stabilize and support Riviera. I destroyed two of the three before Ein caught up with me. We fought and he won, but he refused to finish me off, so Malice appeared and stabbed me in the back.

I survived that, but was weakened. Ein went on to fight her when she destroyed the third. After they were both warn down, Malice unleashed another attack, and this I took for him. She flew off, and I lived only a little longer after that.
