For the duration of yesterday, I have been told I was missing from Prospero. During that time I returned to my original mission, on a world that does not know of an Earth nor does Earth believe it to exist.

(If not for the evidence, one would assume it to be a mere nightmare. To what purpose would our kidnapper subject anyone to such torture? If they have the capability to draw anyone from any place or time, surely they aren't operating so blindly as to be unaware of the consequences of their actions.)
