[Astolfo stands proudly in front of a car. A really old, beat-down car. It might have been an average car at some time, but not recently.]

You'll never believe how cheaply I bought this car for! With a bit of fixing it's perfectly serviceable, if not very attractive, and so much more efficient than just walking around.

My sons, would you spend a minute and help me fix it up? I'll take you for a ride anywhere you like after we get it in a better condition.

He's already swapped out his full length gloves for his short fingerless ones, which will be easier to keep safe while he works, so his long, pointed nails are impossible to miss. He's capeless for once and wearing his shirt loosely. He also doesn't look impressed by the car in the least.*

You've managed to find yourself quite a piece of junk, haven't you?

It was affordable, not junk. I could drive it as it is with few problems, but I thought we'd see what we could do to improve on it.

[Astolfo still has his hair ribbons in, but his fancy clothes have been swapped for a white shirt and jeans.]
