[There's an oddly gentle expression on the face gazing into the screen.]

Ah, V/V, my beloved daughter, I hope this reaches you.
I'm not sure why it took me so long to realize our relation.
Forgive mother for being so forgetful, hm~?

[If she's not a mother, she certainly looks the part. She's simply beaming with maternal pride.]

I'd like to make it up to you by going out for lunch, if you have the time. ♥

[Shortly after, she'd lean a bit closer to the camera. It's a bit of a quizzical look but a content one nonetheless.]

Also, April Sinclair?

Pardon me for not contacting you sooner, dear sister.
Perhaps you could join my daughter and I for lunch? It would be nice for all of us to catch up...or in our case, actually meet.
Please do get back to me as soon as you are able.~

[There's a moment where April just blinks at screen, looking almost puzzled. But then she smiles and gives a nod.]

Ah, yes, I would be happy to!

[She'd clasp her hands together, pleased with reaching out.]

Splendid!
I'd like to meet in the center of the shopping district.
I'm sure we could find a nice little restaurant from there.
What do you think?

[She grins and nods happily.] Yeah, that sounds like a great idea!

Why, thank you.~

I'll be leaving in just a moment. It shouldn't take long to get there.
I'm quite excited to meet you in person.~

[She'd flick her fingers in a wave before turning the phone off.]

Let's do it. I would love to~

I'm so glad. I want to make sure we spend some quality time together.~

Do you know how to get to the center of the shopping district~?
I'd like to meet there if that sounds alright with you, dear.~ ♥

I can meet you there! I'll be there right away, I want to spend all the time I can with you.

[Consider her heart warmed.]

I'd like that very much.
I'm on my way there, now and I'll see you soon.~

[With that, the phone clicks off.]

[Beato would find herself in the square first. Perhaps she was just too eager to run into her family. Family. The warmth of it all overpowered the oddness. She'd simply find a nearby bench and make herself comfortable until the other two arrived.]

[It doesn't take too long for April to arrive, and she felt both nervous and excited at the same time. So she'll be fidgeting with the edge of her skirt as she approaches, before going Beato a wave and a grin.]

Ah, hi!

[The first thing V/V does when she reaches the pair of them is to immediately give Beatrice a hug.]

Hello ♥

[She'd happily return the waving gesture, nervously giggling in spite of herself.]

Ah, fidgeting is the sign of a cute person. I'm glad my sister is cute.~

[No more than a moment later, she's met with the cling of an angel, the surprise nearly causing her to topple.]

Oh, hello, darling. It's so nice to see you again.~ ♥

Have you two met~?

[April blushes faintly at being called 'cute', but still smiles.

And she blinks at Beatrice getting suddenly hugged, before giggling to herself and shaking her head at her question.]

Ah, n-no, we haven't... [And then to V/V:] Um, I'm April. Nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you, April. I'm V/V.

[V/V detaches herself from Beatrice.] How are you two doing?

[That blush may have been faint, but it was viewable and it made Beato giggle even further.]

Ah, I was right!

[She felt herself released as quickly as she was embraced. Typical of V/V]

I'm quite well now that the two of you are here.~

So, what kind of food are you in the mood for~? I'm starved.~ ♥

[And cue the blush becoming a bit brighter.

But she's quick to force it away, even though she still looks a bit nervous.]

I'm pretty well, too!

And I'm up for anything, I don't really mind. [Since she can pretty much eat anything.]

I'll eat whatever you two want. [She likes everything.]

[She'll tap her chin gently.]

Well, this won't do. Come now, what is your favorite thing to eat~?
You two have to have a favorite, right?

[She rubs the back of her neck as she thinks.] ... Well, I really like sweet foods. And spicy food too.

Those are both nice.

[April answered first, let's go with her pick.]

[She'll smile and offer an agreeing nod.]

Well, as long as it isn't very spicy, I don't mind. I absolutely love sweet things, though.

Maybe I'll order a big dessert for the three of us.~

[April will nod and grin brightly.] Oh, that sounds good!

[Nod nod.] Let's go eat.

[A handwave and a montage later and the three of them would be seated at a lovely little outdoor restaurant. Each would be looking over a menu and bantering their way into bonding.]

Now, I want you two to get anything your hearts desire. Don't worry about the price, just enjoy yourselves, okay~?

[She hesitantly glances up from her menu.] T-thank you, but are you sure? I, ah, tend to eat a lot...

I promise not to get too much. I'd feel bad.

Nonsense.

[Dismissive handwave.]

You're my family. If I cannot buy you a satisfying lunch, what am I good for?
Please, get what you like.~ ♥

[April blinks, before nodding with a small smile.]

Oh, okay. Let's see... [Well, let's start with some sandwiches and a few slices of cake first.]

[V/V gets something similar! Her sandwiches are mostly cheese though. She's not a big meat-eater.]

That cake looks really good.

[Beato is going to cut right to the cake. And why not? It's a special occasion after all.]

It does. You should get some, too.

If it turns out you dislike it, I'm sure April and I can split it.~ ♥

[April munches on her sandwiches first, but she nods in agreement.]

Mmhmm, help yourself!

[V/V takes a tiny piece of cake.] Mmm, it's good!

[Before V/V notices, she'll wind up with a dot of frosting on her nose. How it got there? Must be magic. This witch is busy eating cake and looking innocent.]

Haaa~ So good.~ ♥

[... Huh what? April blinks at V/V, then at Beatrice and then at V/V again, before she giggles quietly.]

Ah, V/V, you've got frosting on your nose...

Huh? How'd that get there?

[She wipes it off quickly.]

[No sooner would that dot disappear than another would show up on her cheek. Nevermind the fact that Beato is now licking frosting off of her finger. That doesn't make her look guilty, right?]

I wonder if they have ice cream here, too.~

I think they do... [Her sentence trails off when she notices the frosting on V/V's cheek. Cue her glancing at Beatrice, before she talks to V/V, now grinning slightly.]

Now you've got some on your cheek, V/V.

I don't know how that happened. [Still completely oblivious, V/V wipes that off too.] Oh well.

[Now she'll sneak a grin back to April. Oh, what a troublemaker. Now, V/V has a bit on her nose and cheek.]

Geeze, V/V, you have to be more careful with that cake.~♥

[April doesn't actually say anything at first, but her grin does become a bit more playful.

And Beatrice will soon find that she has a small bit of frosting on her cheek too. April will just be sitting there innocently as she starts to eat her cake.]

I have no idea how this keeps happening.

[She starts giggling as she wipes her face off.] It's very silly.

[She'll take a moment to wipe the frosting off, all the while giggling heartily. She'll dot some more frosting on their noses, this time purposely.]

It is silly and apparently contagious.~

At least the cake isn't going to waste, hm~? ♥

[April's grin widens as she wipes the frosting off with a giggle.]

Hehe, that's true.

[V/V wipes her face off. Again.]

It was tasty cake even when we weren't playing with it.

It was, but it made me hungry for a main course. How odd.

[At this, Beato will tap her chin thoughtfully.]

I think we should get something to tide us over until dinner.

Oh, and then we could get some of these cookies to take home.

How's that~? ♥
