[Those familiar with the Fatal Frame games who play them in Prospero should recognize this face.

It is the face of a young girl huddled in the corner of a dark building with the phone clutched in her hand.

Around her, there are some broken doll arms, as well as a few said, dolls scattered around her body with blood smeared on some.

She doesn't know where she is, much less realizes that she's no longer on the island. If anything, a faint sniffle can be heard from the girl.

She's in a bit of a shock.]

[Part of her was startled at the sound of the "radio" in her hand speaking to her. The second startle came from the fact that a man's face, that looked like mother appeared on the phone.

Yet, it was different.]

M-Mommy... Is that you? [So sorry Kanda.]

M-Mommy? Uh... No, I'm not a woman.

[That's okay. orz.]

You need help, though?

I don't know where I am... [The last thing she remembers burns in her mind, especially with her syndrome not in effect at the moment.]

This is Prospero... somebody's kidnapped a bunch of people from their worlds and brought them here.

The phone in your hand'll show me where you are if you point it around.

[Strangely good timing on the city's part, but she still doesn't understand. It's not like she would until she got out of here and wiped an image clean from her mind.]

Like this? [The video feed moves away from her, and she swings the phone around in an attempt to understand.]

Yeah, like that. Do it slower, alright?

[He'll do his best, promise.]

[A nod and she follows his instructions like so.

This person... This person wasn't so bad. She didn't have the urge to do anything to him, and he was actually helping her instead of fearing her.]

Alright, I got it. You want me to come find you? There's a place in the city where people with that device in your hands can stay for free.

I can't stay at the hospital anymore? [She feels like that's the only place that'd be safe for her. Also, it's weird to be out of her environment.]

...It's better that you don't, if you're not sick.

[He'll keep her safe?]

... I was admitted to the hospital because I had Getsuyuu Syndrome. I was incomplete and broken.

[Or so she thinks of herself.]

Can I trust you? Are you one of the ugly ones that wants to protect me? [She's not trying to be offensive or anything. It's just that everyone that has tried to protect her just.

You can trust me. If by "ugly" you mean "people only doing it because they have to"-- then I'm not one of them. I wanna help you, kid. But I won't force you.

[It's not like... she doesn't have to trust him. He seems like a nice guy, and someone that she can trust while she's here. Plus, he looks a bit like mommy, so it's okay.]

[He'll do his best for her. Because that's... just who he is.]

I'll come get you, then. Don't leave that area, alright?

[A single nod, and she stays quiet and very still for Kanda to find her. If anything, she won't hurt him. He definitely seems genuine and not following any sort of order.]

[Order? Nah. Just his own sympathy. He'll come pretty quickly, making excuses at his workplace to do this. Fifteen minutes at most.]

...Kid? You still here?

[Ayako moves the dolls that are scattered in her way and makes it through the pile of dolls to tug Kanda's sleeve.

Definitely looks like mother.]

[Kanda turns to look at her, and gently puts a hand on her head.]

...Hey. You're safe now.

[It's definitely dark in here, but she feels warm on the inside. Like that headpat actually meant something and that he felt like a guardian of some sort.]

I don't... know your name...

...It's Kanda. What's yours?

[Pillar of strength, he is.]

... Ayako.

[Such a pillar of strength that Ayako is clinging to his sleeve for awhile.]

I want to leave. I'm scared that a man in blooming followed me.

[He doesn't ask, not right now. He nods and takes her hand, instead.]

Alright then. Let's get out of here.

[Ayako follows in silence, of course. Looking around her surroundings once before focusing on the floor as they walk. He was pretty warm, so she was enjoying that.]

[Once they're in open air, Kanda will tell her the things she needs to know about this place. Y'know, the usual newbie speech that Button is a bit too lazy to type out right now.]

[Works for me man. You just have (1) terrified kid on your hands. Or slightly terrified anyway. Being out of her environment and all]

I'm going to be alone...? With no nurses or doctors...? [Sure, she loved to torment the former, but still. It was scary to not be in control.]
