I know there are people who are volunteering to help with the investigations on the Church through hacking and what not, but what about on a more personal level? If no one else has volunteered yet, maybe I could help with an undercover infiltration for investigation. They might have records or something of value that's not found in their computers.

Don't worry, I should be able to take of myself.

No, a supernatural creature wanted to eat my soul to get a power boost. He also wanted to take his time eating my body as an extra treat. Having your soul and body ripped apart from each other is very painful and apparently pain is the best spice to creeps like them.

Thing is, I don't remember what happened after he ate my body except I wound up here when I woke up.

['Supernatural creature?' ...Well, the Fair Folk were pretty mercurial about being jerks or being benevolent. It certainly sounded like something that could be up their alley.]

My condolences. Sounds fairly unpleasant, even if you can't remember the entirety of the ordeal.

Fair's fair for making you recall those memories, I suppose. In the name of full disclosure, I've had "weakened via broken geas, died tied upright to a stone", and "forced to stab my own heart out" to my name.

A geas, huh? I've been meaning to review Celtic mythology for a long time to be honest.

Oh? You actually know what a geas is? Last time I mentioned it some kid ran up to me talking about rebellions or something. It was a bit disappointing.

Guess you can say I inherited my father's passion for mythology and folklore from all over the world. He used to read them to me and my brother when we were little.

You're going to need to be more careful than just counting on them to be idiots. Kaji does this kind of thing and he has decades of training...well, I think he does this kind of thing. He wouldn't be very good at it if I was sure...

There are already a couple of people working on that, but more eyes are always helpful.

All the more reason for me to help out. We all want to know why we were brought here and if this church has any clues, we'll be one step close to knowing the trust.

But I'm going to tell you the same thing I've told everyone else who wanted to try this. Be careful. If they are connected to Dark Hour and us being here, it's possible that they have some kind of power.

I will. Hopefully I won't have to deal with them during the Dark Hour. If anything, I'd rather do that part of the investigation with back up.

Maybe. Though I'm worried if too many of us are in on this, the locals might get suspicious. Then again, they don't seem to question us being here in Prospero to being with so maybe there's a chance they won't notice anything.

It's simple really. Pretend that I'm interested in converting, they take me in. I'll gain their trust, especially the higher ups and send out photos, audio or video clips inside the church.

Yes, I do realize that. I wasn't planning on doing this entirely solo. I'd have others decide based on whatever I gathered.

As long as you're not convinced that it is all going to go according to plan, and that you have adequate back up.
