[The day after her unfortunate introduction to Prospero in the middle of the Dark Hour, Asuka quite guiltlessly slept until 11 am and, nonplussed to find herself still in this weird town, set about assessing her situation and getting stock of her available resources - to say nothing of washing up after her first real hand-to-hand combat experience. Once all that's done, however, she begins on her first and most obvious asset - the phone.]

Okay.
So.
I'm in 'Prospero', in the US. I have no idea how I got here, let alone who managed to spirit me off a verdamnt aircraft carrier in the middle of the Pacific. Well, as long as I'm in Prospero, 'if this were played upon a stage, I must condemn it a most improbably fiction'.
Before any idiots ask, I'm referencing Shakespeare, okay?
Anyway, someone had better explain to me what's going on here. I have very important business in Japan, which, by the way, the fate of the world depends on, and my employers are not going to be happy about this involuntary leave here. And this is without even going into whatever the hell that trip was last night. Seriously, Analytical Psychiatry is bunk anyway.
[Finally, she brandishes her letter]
And one last thing - how and why am I enrolled in high school here?!

[ There is no pity for a girl who's quick to insult. ]
No one likes it, but it is the reality of what has happened.

Well, whatever. I bet whatever it is will let me leave when all the Shadow-things are dead, so I'll just get cracking on that. It's not exactly good military protocol, but I don't think I need a formal briefing to handle some masked blobs when I can make my own weapon.
[ Tilting her head to the side a bit at her words. Military protocol: perhaps it was in poor taste for Saber to have assumed right off the bat. ]
Your own weapon?

[She points to her head.]
Persona. That thing that feels like an AT Field and looks like a soprano.
[ And hey, it's a sword up there. Not a stick |D At this age though? Peering intently at the video, she can see the adolescence in her features, the same Saber sees when she glances at herself in the mirror.
It feels alien to know she will forever look several years behind. ]
Persona. [ Hm. That was what she heard when she first woke up. ] What is an AT Field?
[ Perhaps further discussion will prompt more details out of her. She does seem to like talking. ]
[ Sounds religious to her. ]
Projecting a Persona. [ So is that how normal people fight here? People who can't swing a blade or thrust a spear? ]
I see. You do not need assistance of any sort then?

[ The last word spoken with respect of course. ]
no subject
Well, there are a few benefits to being raised with a code of chivalry...
