Admittedly, I didn't expect to receive as many requests for a Valentine's oriented party. And while I had not trouble when it came to inform myself about the whereabouts of such celebration... [She takes a little pause to let her awesomeness sink in.] People are weird in this time and age!

[And she throws the light pink piece of cloth she was holding to a side, a bit too much dramatically to be completely honest.]

They babble of love, and yet they all want a very much typical party. I had suggested something more special, more intimate, but it seems to me that such a special occasion is being used as a vile excuse to make noise. Inconsiderate simpletons...

[Well it seems somebody had been keeping that for herself for a while. She maintains her composure though, because that's unsightly of an emperor.]

Ah, I almost forgot the purpose of this message. How are you all planning to spend Valentine's Day? I hope you all have a special someone, or someones to keep you company and devote yourself to love in a proper way. [That coming from her probably means something completely different though. The feed ends with Saber making a dreamy face for a moment.]

Well, the chocolate part doesn't sound so bad.

I suppose Kaiji and all of those younger people will probably be all aflutter about it. I hope it doesn't distract them from their duties.

It's supposed to act as a token of the love as well. Apparently giving chocolate to somebody on Valentine's Day equals a declaration of feelings in some parts.

[Girl has been hitting the books.]

Fret not, Garviel, at worst it will only instill a rather interesting atmosphere to observe how they act.

We have sorely needed your sword arm at times, I trust you were all right?

Ah, that. I must have said this before, but my inclinations go beyond the militaristic. I got caught in my business and let the Dark Hour happenings pass by. I shall retake my patrol duties immediately and make myself an example.

By the looks of it though, it seems like the young have stood to the challenge. Good.

Ah, you were undertaking the creation of a work of art? Is it something that I might see? I will confess to some curiosity about culture in general, as I only really had exposure to it through books, previously. I spent 2 centuries doing little but fighting and learning, and while I have seen wonders... the pastimes of humanity while not at war intrigue me greatly, for someday, such things were to be my destiny, once the galaxy had been properly pacified.

It's nothing too special. I might have, perhaps, completely a paint or two, but mostly mu work at the moment is to organize the entertainment of the masses. It's not something you can see, but experience.

It seems to me your people deserved more exposure to the joys of life. I shall make my best to transmit you culture whenever I can.

My people are humans, you understand. Just my brotherhood was altered and made to be their eternal defenders, and in some cases, rulers. We were crafted to excel at war, and live long lives. Some said we were functionally immortal, though fated to die in combat. Once the war was over, we would turn our talents to administration and culture.

[ He pauses. ] I have often wondered privately what I would do, when the time came to live even a portion of my life as a man does, instead of a weapon. What sort of thing I should take up. Perhaps you can advise me there.

I see...then you need to find a way to live as a man now. Well, you are a man of many talents. This shouldn't be a difficult task, but a very fulfilling one.

It shall prove to be an interesting and educational experience for both.

I assume you are preparing for something to do with this holy day? I am by definition a secular man, but I would be pleased to assist you in whatever way you might find me useful.

It's nothing you need to worry yourself about. It has come to be...standard preparations, although I shall commission some extra materials, given the event's nature. Other than that I haven't decided whether I should just celebrate it myself at large or make something more...intimate.

It appears to be some new Heresy spread by a retired Senator from this area. Given the conjunction of this and some of the artefacts found in the abandoned warehouse, we may have finally found an open revelation of the nature of our mutual foe. It bears investigation, though... given my approach to religion, it is perhaps unwise for me to be the one directly investigating.

That...doesn't sound good at all. What artifacts? Do you believe I could take a look at them myself?

Ah, but then again, some people would say my approach to religion might not be the best.

You would have to ask the children who ventured in. I was not a part of that particular undertaking. [ Garviel looks a bit intrigued, and asks Nero. The Imperium's response is to send an entire legion to kill it. ]

Hm, that is what I will do then. Children shouldn't be left alone with such things anyway.
