Action - Hotel Kitchen

[After waking up somewhere around noon, as is the luxury in being unemployed, Miki sets off on making a batch of shio ramen, as she promised she would for Issei after he helped her out. Aside from the various vegetables and cuts of meat that Miki is slicing up for her soup, there are two bowls- one plain and one red with a fancy design on the side- a large plastic container, and two carnations sitting on the counter.]

Action - Hotel, Outside 507, Iseei's room.

[Miki is knocking on Issei's door while holding the plain bowl.]

Video - Faillocked to Lion

[Miki appears on the Videophone, looking rather sheepish.]

H-hi Lion! I was just making some shio ramen and it seems I made a little bit too much. I was just going to bring it to you, b-but I remember I don't know where you're staying, hahaha! If you would like some I'll be in the kitchen cleaning up for a little bit. M-maybe we could go to the arcade after, heh, y-you know, so I can show you around, that is!

[As she mentions the going to the arcade Miki's face starts to redden with embarrassment.]

[Miki hobbles onto the elevator with Lion and pushes the button for her floor.]

It's ok. Knowing that we'll be meeting again soon will keep me happy until then.

[As they ascend, Miki sighs contentedly, closes her eyes and allows herself a few more moments of happiness just laying on Lion's shoulder.]

[Lion tries to remain quiet. She seems really exhausted so he doesn't want to bother her while the elevator is moving.

He speaks when the elevator reaches her floor, though--softly, just in case she'd been dozing off.]

We're here, miss Miki.

[Miki jumps a bit, Lion correctly having guessed that she dozed off.]

Wha-oh. I guess we are here.

[Miki walks with Lion to her door, Finally unpeels herself from his side and unlocks it. She limps a few steps in before turning and facing Lion, blushing and starting to look a bit nervous.]

B-before you go I-I just wanna tell you one more thing...

[Lion is sure to watch her after she moves away from his side, to be sure she doesn't need further support. When she opens the door and seems fine, he relaxes and a smile rises to his face.]

Yes? What is it?

[Miki leans in towards Lion's face and gives him a quick, short kiss. She pulls back again, smiling radiantly, her face glowing with happiness beneath a slight blush.]

Thanks.

This post should now be called blushing lion--you succeeded in breaking through his denseness

Lion blushes and gets a little flustered at that--kiss--?!?!]

Y-you're welcome...!

[And now he thinks back--did he lead her on somehow? He certainly hopes not--maybe that was just a thank-you kiss between friends. Hopefully. It would probably be best to leave now.

Lion gulps a little and musters a smile before nodding his head and giving a small wave goodbye as he steps back.]

[Miki responds in a gentle voice before closing the door. She all but floats over to her bed to lie down and sleep off this wonderful night.]
