[For once, Vriska's posting during the Dark Hour. Yellow eyes were looking almost challengingly at the screen, her blue lips twisted into a frown]

So, all you guys who have that Persona thing awakened... the hell is that supposed to be? It caaaaaaaan't be a part of yourself; that would be just dumb. So what is it?

[You might see that in her face, she looked mildly... disturbed]

And what is that supposed to do aaaaaaaanyway?

It's more like a reflection of yourself but they take on forms of creatures or beings from human mythology and folklore. They allow you to use skills that are much more effective against shadows. Think of it like summoning magic.

So...what does your Persona look like anyway?

...You killed your own guardian?

A spider, huh? Did it say anything when it first appeared to you? Like "I am thou and thou art I...?" There's actually quite a lot of spiders in human folklore.

Is it some kind of troll tradition to kill your guardians or it just happened?

Spider...trickster...No doubt about it. Your Persona took on the form of Anansi, a well known creature in African folktales. He's a trickster in a good sense, as he could outwit his enemies and bought much good to the world. Is it because it's a spider that's why you think it's stupid?

I...see.

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that. After all, like I said, your Persona is a reflection of yourself. It's fairly common for people to fully understand themselves. I might look into some research since I can't think of any scorpion related folklore off the top of my head.
