The Velvet Key

[It's been an interesting few nights for Vriska. Got a matesprit, got drunk, and then saw a human with the same Persona that Feferi had, reminding her about someone she missed. So her nightly excursion during the Dark Hour to kill Shadows got a little out of hand. While she was doing well against most Shadows, she ran into a particular one that gave her problems. A Brave Wheel, to be exact, and it had just absorbed an Agi from Anansi and didn't seem to want to be charmed.]

Grr...! Fine then! [Her claws struck out-]

[And proceeded to bounce right off, slicing across her own stomach deeply. Vriska's eyes shot open as she stumbled back, holding her stomach]


((OOC: I've had a really bad day at work, so Vriska may die during this post. If not, she's in for a world of hurt and may be wishing she did. The plan right now is for her to die, so be forewarned.))

[As the video came on, there was a flash of red and a thump] Damn, missed. [Another flash of red, then Vriska picked up the phone, looking at it with a grumpy face] You know, you turn on and start recording me at the dumbest of times. [She grumbled, throwing something with her other hand. Something that made a splut and a screech of tires and made her grin] Ha! Direct hit. Hey, let's play a game. You find me, you can make me stop. But I bet you can't fiiiiiiiind me!

[It started obviously during the Dark Hour. Green lighting and darkness? Oh yeah. A troll's hand came into view, holding a bit of frayed rope as Vriska's voice spoke]

Nepeta, you do that again and I will kill you. [A beat] Thanks.

[Action]

[How does Vriska get into Issei's room? Trade troll secret. But she slinked in, heedless of anyone already in there, and went straight for the shower, quiet and not looking at whoever was in there]

[For once, Vriska was sending a video out before the Dark Hour, so one could see her human face looking at the screen, carefully turned so only half her face was visible]

Lusus, Feferi, Kaoru... and anyone else I guess. Gonna beat up a lot of Shadows tonight. Meet me.

[The Dark Hour. It's pretty familiar to most here, and the Shadows were not a surprise to any.]

[What may come as a surprise was a sudden broadcast. As the screen was tilted, it was obvious it was an accidental one. What else may be a surprise is the gray skinned, orange horned humanoid ripping one apart with her bare claws while another Shadow stumbled about and attacked another of its kind, confused. When all of the threats were dead, Vriska scooped up her phone and grinned into it]

[For once, Vriska's posting during the Dark Hour. Yellow eyes were looking almost challengingly at the screen, her blue lips twisted into a frown]

So, all you guys who have that Persona thing awakened... the hell is that supposed to be? It caaaaaaaan't be a part of yourself; that would be just dumb. So what is it?

[You might see that in her face, she looked mildly... disturbed]
