[ Look! A video! A video of... a piano? All that's on the screen is the row of black and white keys, at a slightly odd angle. If someone is sitting at said piano, they can't be seen due to the proximity and the angle.

Somewhere in the background an MP3 is playing. One has to really wonder if this was an accident, until a pair of long-fingered hands come int view, and begin to play, the piano easily drowning out the background music.

After the song is done, one of the hands reaches for the camera, the whole scene shifting wildly for a moment before coming to rest (mostly) on Lindsey's face. His cheeks are red, and he's obviously embarrassed. ]

So. Uh. Usagi, that was my was of asking if you maybe wanted to go out.

... With me. Go out with me.

[ You can see why he let the piano do the talking- the feed abruptly ends there. Yes, it was likely this was supposed to be filtered, but he doesn't know how to do that. Enjoy your free show, Prospero. ]

Ah.. yes, I'm here! [ Right, he was blind, after all, or it was easy to guess so from the sunglasses and cane from earlier.. but she doesn't mind, really, she smiles all the same and it resounds in her voice, even with the nervousness as she walks up to him, grabbing his hand lightly as if to show her presence. ]

I'm.. um.. glad you came.

[ action ] I'm so sorrry! I just dropped off the face of the planet D:

[ He grips her hand in his, and the smile on his face is more genuine than anything he's worn since arriving in Prospero ]

Of course I came. I wouldn't just leave you out here all alone.

[ action ] it's fine, take your time, bby! ♥ I can wait!

[selene]

[ That smile.. it makes her own smile widen slightly, since she just feels.. glad, is that it - to see him smile like that. ]

No, you wouldn't do that. [ He's not a bad person, after all. ] But I would've waited here for you all the same, no matter how long it'd take.

[ action ]

... You honestly think I'm worth waiting for?

Of course! [ she brightly smiles, and her tone turns even warmer as she laughs happily. ]

I think you're a nice person, so why wouldn't I want to wait for you?

[ action ]

Maybe because I'm not a nice person? [ Shadow influence or no, Lindsey has got some issues to work through here. ]

[ action ]

... Why would you say that?

[ There's not particular happiness or sadness behind the question, almost more.. curiosity - since she doesn't think he's a bad person. ]

[ action ]

Cause it's true. I don't want people to pity me, so I just... push them away.

... I don't even know why I'm telling you this.

[ he pauses for a moment, frowning ] I guess because I trust you.

[ Though if he were thinking rationally about this at all, he'd know he had no reason to- he's had all of one conversation with the girl. ]

[ To Usagi it's at least a little more natural - she's open and trusting by nature, just easily telling people things, so it doesn't come off as weird. And yet.. she feels somewhat happy too, that he's at least telling her about this, so she squeezes his hands just a little. ]

You don't have to push people away. Not when they want to care for you.

... You don't have to be alone.

[ It could be because his defenses are weaker than usual suddenly, but when she says that, his heart actually skips a beat ]

[ a giggle - happily, since.. he deserves this much, right? ]

What are you thanking me for? It's just the truth, after all!

Because... I just... I've never had anybody care about me like that before.

W-- well, I care for you! And.. it might seem a little sudden and all, but it's a true, honest feeling.
