I always did like Saint Patrick's Day. Not just for my being Irish, but because everyone's enjoying themselves so much.

Green?

Because Ireland's color is green, it's traditional to wear green today, or else anyone who sees you has free reign to give you a pinch.

A silly punishment. It hardly hurts.

Then why bother calling it a punishment?

To encourage people to wear green. It's not much fun as a holiday if you're the only one celebrating.
