Okay, first of all, I think some of you neglected to mention that we can't fucking die. What am I supposed to think when I turn on my phone and somebody's going "oh yeah, I got murdered but I'm all better now"?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not about to go out and get my ass killed just to see what it's like, but that's kind of an important detail to leave out. Jesus.

[ There's a bit of an awkward pause here. He sort of doesn't have a segue for this. ]

Aaaaanyway... somebody wanna help me set up a keyboard? Some fucking Shadow dropped it, and I'm not going to ask what it was doing with my keyboard, but I'll take it. I'm in room 414 in the hotel.

[ He motions inside, where the keyboard is set up against one wall. ] Ta-da?

... Okay. Have a seat, I guess.

[ There's two beds, and a couple of chairs at a small table to choose from. ]

[ chair it is! Don't worry, Lindsey, she makes enough noise just by moving. ]

[ Lindsey himself moves to the keyboard, plunking out a few random notes as he considers what to play.

He's still in a bit of a mood, thanks to her earlier comment, so he ends up playing something a little more heartfelt than the usual pop song. ]

[ for her part, she's quiet, listening intently and leaning forward in her chair. he's really good... ]

[ It's good for him too- his foul mood seems to wash away as he plays. After a moment, he forgets she's even there.

After the song is over, he sits there a moment, face down-turned and hidden by a curtain of blond hair. He turns his head towards where he heard her sit down. a questioning look on his face ]
