Unit 6 - Where in the Hotel gains access to a pool table. No need for a bar.

[Early one evening, if one happens to walk through the hotel lobby, they may notice something that hadn't been there when they had left through those doors.

A pool table.

Thanks to that odd offer of the powers that be to give them back something from home, Gaignun (somewhat jokingly) asked for the pool table from his office, and got it much to his surprise. It's a well loved pool table, well made with a few nicks and scratches in the wood work that speaks to the fact that it actually got used.

So there it sits, in the side of the hotel lobby, fully decked out with a sign posted saying "Free to play, just take good care of it."

It's owner, a face familiar to mosmt is right now just happily noodling around on it, making random shots. Feel free to join him, he's always up for a game.]


[[ooc: So the hotel now has a pool table, which is free for anyone to use. It's now a fixture there until he finds somewhere else to put it so feel free to appropriate it for other threads and what not.]]

[After the gruff greeting (implying everything he says isn't already gruff...), Snake will do the polite thing and get to racking the billiards.]

Once the racking is done, Snake will stand off to the side indicating that he wants Gaignun to go first.]

Thank you. [He steps forward, carefully lining up his shot.] Have you been in this place for very long?

[Snake will take that opportunity to light up a smoke.]

Twelve days. What about you?

[He won't comment on the smoke, but inwardly he's making a face.] A couple of months I'm afraid. This place doesn't get any better the more you stay here, that's for sure.

That's what we're here for. A small step closer to figuring out just what the hell is going on around here is better than not making any progress.

That's very true. Every step forward we take is a step home. I have to admit, charming as this place is, I will be more then happy to see the backside of it.

These two will make great friends. They're equally sarcastic!

[Snake chuckles after that, taking a drag from his cigarette and blowing it out away from Gaignun.]

Ah...yes, if that is the case then I can see your concern. It will be alright, I'm sure we'll have this figured out soon barring any horrendous hiccups.

When they haven't been planed by someone in brass. [He's...been around enough soldiers to follow Snake's wording. Yeah. That's it.]

Close enough, but mainly I have worked with many soldiers over the years, seen what they go through.

[Yeah, not admitting that he was born and bred for a private army. However, he has worked with regular army guys so he's not lying either.]
