Unit 6 - Where in the Hotel gains access to a pool table. No need for a bar.

[Early one evening, if one happens to walk through the hotel lobby, they may notice something that hadn't been there when they had left through those doors.

A pool table.

Thanks to that odd offer of the powers that be to give them back something from home, Gaignun (somewhat jokingly) asked for the pool table from his office, and got it much to his surprise. It's a well loved pool table, well made with a few nicks and scratches in the wood work that speaks to the fact that it actually got used.

So there it sits, in the side of the hotel lobby, fully decked out with a sign posted saying "Free to play, just take good care of it."

It's owner, a face familiar to mosmt is right now just happily noodling around on it, making random shots. Feel free to join him, he's always up for a game.]


[[ooc: So the hotel now has a pool table, which is free for anyone to use. It's now a fixture there until he finds somewhere else to put it so feel free to appropriate it for other threads and what not.]]

A gun, I think. One that's expensive and customized. Fighting with my persona is fine, but I'd like to do some actual damage without it. And considering the cost of some guns... if I could get one without draining half my account it would be nice.

Exactly. There's not too much I had in my world that I can't really get here, in any case.

There are some things that I can not get in this world, but to be honest I don't really need them as they have equivalents here.

[He misses his easy on the eyes holo-computer screens.]

Out of curiosity, what's the ate when you're from?

About 4000 or so years in the future of this time period, give or take a century or two.

Much of this technology must seem quite primitive to you, then, given how humanity has a tendency to advance such at an increasing speed.

It does, though I can easily see the prototypes for what we have back home. Computers, transportation, literature.

For the most part I have. Still, there are plenty of things I miss terribly, just for the fact that they're more convenient.

Tch. Agreed. Unfortunately I doubt that whomever is running this place is willing to provide me with my old server, which would make things much more interesting.

Oh, have a sense of adventure. I mean that for one I would have access to more magic than just that possessed by my Persona.

I do have a sense of adventure, I just worry about what your idea of 'interesting' may be. Though I must admit, having some abilities like more magic from home would make things easier for you here.

Ah, well. I suppose most people would worry about that.

Healing skills, for one, which my Persona seems to lack. A few more Almighty spells would also be helpful, considering nothing where I'm from is immune to it.

Healing skills would come in handy...[Gaignun himself is in the 'no healing skills' boat as well.] Almighty? Hmm, that does sound like it would help you out quite a bit.

It would. My Persona has one Almighty skill and an ice skill, but if I had the server it would be a relatively simple matter to modify the program for something like, say, our phones.

A shame it had to be absorbed - though I am thankful the right person got their hands on it.

Somewhat. People on Lost Jerusalem...well, Earth, built a town in order to communicate with God...the story said he got mad but I think there was more to it then that...

[The 'God' of his universe accidentally drives people insane if they come into contact with him for very long. Mainly because 'he' doesn't understand how people work.]

That's correct. It's more than just a story where I'm from. The server for the Demon Summoning Program was absorbed into the King's Gate - also known as the Tower of Babel. It makes sense - considering that the one who defeats the King's Gate is nearly the King of Demons, absorbing its power - and therefore the power of the server - isn't so far-fetched.

Sudden craving for leeks. I wonder why.
