Second Gambit (Video)

Now that I've gotten myself relatively settled, I think it's time I started preparing for the rest of my stay here...however long that might be. So, anyone up for sparring? I'm skilled in both Judo and Karate, but it doesn't really matter to me what style of fighting you prefer as long as you're good at it.

I have another request, as well. I've been informed that this place is somewhat lacking in light-based projectile weaponry, and I don't want to be caught helpless if I'm ambushed by Shadows and run out of ammunition for a more traditional gun. What I'm looking for is a teacher in some sort of melee weapon. I can manage just about anything, but I would prefer it not be too barbaric. I'm afraid I can't compensate you now, but I would be indebted to anyone who volunteers.

Oh, good! I wasn't sure if people were still sending that around.

Anyway, getting your persona will help you out a lot. They're way more effective against shadows than regular weapons.

I can imagine. I haven't tried to fight them yet myself, but exploiting weaknesses is obviously a better tactic than attacking blindly. And here I'm fresh out of flamethrowers.

Hehe, don't worry. The persona thing is actually pretty easy. ANd the more you fight with them, the more stuff they learn.

Yeah, if you're not careful, you can get into trouble. I was out training with a friend once and we ran into a shadow that was immune to wind attacks. Back then, that was all either of us had.

It was pretty embarrassing, actually.

Sounds like it. Maybe it would be best to carry a more traditional weapon even with a Persona, just in case something like that happens.

Yeah, it's always good to be armed during the dark hour. And I guess it also helps to find a partner who has different elemental attacks.

Although, you actually don't have to fight shadows at all. They won't come inside. A lot of people use the extra hour to watch TV or do homework.
