[If you happen to be living in the school dorms, you may have noticed some strange things on Friday morning. Buckets placed precariously over slightly ajar doors. Many of them filled with glitter or confetti. Careful, they might fall. There is black shoe polish smeared on the light switches in the bathrooms. In the common living area of Deacon hall, all of the chairs have whoopee cushions on them. And a few 'lucky' people have their door blocked off with copious amounts of duct tape. Enjoy. Feel free to ignore the silly pranks. John can be pretty immature.]

[That afternoon, John is getting on the phone.]

So, it's kind of my birthday today! Would anyone be interested in getting together and watching movies or something?

Hehe, sounds complicated. How do you keep them all straight?

Well, I already explained kuudere, right? So tsundere is when someone tries to pretend they don't care about you or how all you do is bother them and spend most of their time loudly yelling about how they don't like you at all, except secretly they really do. They'll say lots of stuff like 'this isn't for your sake' or 'I'm doing this because I want to.'

And then there's yandere, where they love you so much that they want to kill everybody else that even looks like they might be starting to get close to you, because you're only allowed to belong to them. Those types can be pretty creepy, so it's usually best to stay away from them.

It's easy once you know what it all means! And it's way easier to understand than those crazy quadrant thingies Eridan's always talking about. He tried to explain them to me like twice and I still have no idea what he's talking about!

You mean the troll quadrants? Yeah, I had a hard time with those too. Karkat gave me the basics though.

Uh, let's see.... matesprit is just like a regular girlfriend or boyfriend. Mwahrails, or whatever they're called is like being best friends. Kisme.... kismet...kismesis?

Well, whatever it's called, it's sort of like hating someone but also wanting to make out with them. It's weird. There's also another one that's kind of like a quadrant lawyer. They sort of... mediate the other quadrants, I guess?
