[ It was a nice dream this time, Saber can admit as she finds herself shifting in her sleep. Instead of the soft blades of grass tickling her bare skin though, she found sand scratching at her. That was enough to force alert, eyelids snapping open as she stares into the murky darkness that comes with opening your eyes for the first time in a very long period. The unmistakable sound of waves crashing down on the ocean nearby brought her to an alerted state that she was in danger once more, so she acts with the natural instinct that comes to her. A sword laying nearby was more convenience than she needed, even moreso when she feels the weight of it in her hand, shaking it free of the moist clumps of dirt that cling to it.
The fresh scent of the ocean mingles with the familiar toxins of the city before her. So it has come to this, has it? Either her apprentice has left and this place found it kind enough to tell her or it was simply messing with her as it always does. Regardless of the circumstances, she needed to prepare for the Dark Hour. Let them come for she needs to have the weight lifted from her shoulders in the way that only battle can do. ]

[ Sometime after the Dark Hour passes, when she's found a place to hide herself from any potential snipers and enemies, she'll pull out the phone given to her by this place. It looks different, but it's kept all of her messages from before. Convenient really, as she takes a bit more time to listen to the messages a certain knight had left her during the troublesome week she had before. After she's hesitated for as long as she can, she brings herself to make a public call. ]
For those who have just begun to miss me, it seems that fate has decided to return me to this hellish prison. [ If anything, she sounds more amused than anything. ] It also seems that the numbers here have diminished greatly. Well, that is a shame, but there are many warriors still in this special populace of the city.
I am Saber, although many have taken to calling me Arturia Pendragon in this day and age. [ Yes, the real King Arthur. As much as she would like to add that on, it seems like an unnecessary attachment to her introduction already. ] Who among my allies still remain? [ Heh. ] And who among my enemies are brave enough to speak when addressed to?
[ That seems to be the end of her message, but she holds open the line for a little longer, as though hesitating to ask another question. Eventually though, she cuts it once the silence becomes too much. ]

[voice]
[ Speaking to herself in such an empty and abandoned building helps keep her focused, the echo of her words drowning out the waves nearby if only for a moment. Should he happen to sneak up on her, she will be pacing back and forth in her wet battle gown, her armor weighing her down to a slow walk. ]

[So much so that he literally did not stop running all the way from the hotel until he got there. Which would have been nothing, were he in the body of a Servant or a demigod. But as it was? He was human, disheveled, and leaning on the wall to catch his breath once he arrived.]
Ar-...Arturia? Where...
[action]
Diarmuid, have you not learned to drive a car in this time?
[ Just going to mask her joy upon seeing him with a question. Welcome to knight 101. ]
[action]
[action]
What are two adults with wet clothes supposed to do to keep warm now???]Diarmuid, you are going to ruin your vestments if you insist on continuing with this.
[action]
[His voice shook audibly despite how he tried to keep it steady.]
I missed you. I missed you so much, and even among all the others that vanished your absence pained me more than I can say. I'm s-so happy to...see you again.
[action]
You seem anything but happy, Diarmuid. Listen to yourself now, as you stand on the verge of tears.
[action]
Those closest to me have all left, yet your disappearance was like losing a part of myself. The ache of it was just as clear as if I were to lose an arm in combat. But with your return, I truly feel as if that part of me is at last back in place.
[action]
Well, then I am relieved you feel whole again. Might I ask as to why my disappearance bothered you so greatly or is that a selfish inquiry to make?
[action]
Why would it not? You are the one I hold dearest to my heart, the one person who understands me above all others.
[action]
[ With that, she'll move to sit down on the dusty ground with her hands folding up into her lap. ]
Are we... I just do not know how to start with this line of questioning.
[action]
[Sitting down across from her, Diarmuid waited patiently for her to speak again.]
[action]
[ It's an easy question, but it took her so long to finally ask it. The weight hasn't been lifted from her shoulders as she gazes up at him in fright, afraid of the answer that was coming. ]
[action]
[He wanted to reply by assuring her they were both currently human, but that didn't seem like what she was asking.]
...forgive me, I'm not sure I understand the question.
[action]
[ Just look at her repeating the question. ]
[action]
[action]
[ She's trying so hard to not give herself away... ]
[action]
[action]
Diarmuid!
[action]
[action]
[ Shirou. Why didn't he answer her call? She'll go to pull out her own phone once more, flipping it open to scroll through the contacts list. ]
Shirou, Shirou, Shirou...
[action]
[action]
[ She stops before she ever hits Shirou's name, looking up towards him once more. ]
Your wife too?
[action]
[Just quietly dodging that first part.]
