...
[He followed an Earthling, and now look where it got him. Sure, their habits were rubbing off on him, but his actions were in good conscious and all. The only problem now was he didn't know where he was, and from his point of view, everything in this city was far too obsolete. He found a communicator of some sort, but he wasn't sure if it was going to work. He didn't even know if anyone was around because the part of the city he ended up in looked to be abandoned.
Sigh.
Standing here wasn't going to do anything for him. He had to try, even though he could have just went peacefully and sat here until he died. Again, another problem for him was that he felt his body feel alive. His body didn't feel like a weapon, and it just struck even more confusion in him.
Being on another planet though? No biggie. He didn't care. After exploring the Star Ocean, he was used to finding himself on different planets.
Now he just had to find out where he was, and if he could leave.
It must be the bad karma. It must be. Otherwise he wouldn't be here right now. He wouldn't be here, fidgeting with this device if it wasn't for his bad karma.
Ah well. He manages to get this thing to work after a few tweaks, and on the feed, the person on the other side will notice that Arumat is not human. And that he looks a bit angry.]
To anyone who receives this transmission...
It seems to appear that I'm on a different planet. Those who know where we are, I'd like to know what planet this is, and if I can leave.
If there is anyone out there.

Unfortunately, yes. That seems to be the case for anyone here who hails from another world - even if it's another Earth.
[SHRUG.] Another Earth, huh? I'm not surprised.
[Fuck all these alternative worlds man.] Are you familiar with this planet?
And yes, I am. I was born and raised on Earth, as a matter of fact! Just not this one. There's a few differences, but enough of it is alike that I can get by just fine.
[Don't mind his scary look. He's just... surprised that someone would drag this little girl here.] ....
You don't look like a soldier. Why are you here?
[She's seen smiles that are scarier. It comes of knowing the folks she does.]
I'm here because the powers that be decided it should be so. Warrior or citizen, child or adult - it doesn't seem to matter much to them.
[He doesn't even mean to be scary either. It's just. His look.]
Aren't you afraid, Earthling?
[Yeah, that smile of hers doesn't even twitch at the memory.]
Oh? I'm sorry, should I be cowering at the sight of you? Sorry, I'm not exactly used to the whole greeting aliens thing yet.
[you have to wonder. She looks so damn young.]
Not afraid of me. [He shakes his head, chuckling.] At the circumstances.
As for the circumstances here, well. It only takes so long for a human - sorry, Earthling to adjust.
[Little gurl, y u do this to him.] Not a soldier, but you remind me of someone I know. Also an Earthling, but...
[He trails off.] Your name?
Re: [Video]
Hiyono Yuizaki. And you would be...?
Oh, and before I forget... I was sent a file when I first arrived here that explained a lot of things. I can forward it to you if you'd like.
[Yep. Human traits. Rubbing off on him.] Forward it? With this obsolete machine?
[As she speaks, she deftly sends a file to his phone.]
Your help is appreciated.
