Mornin', Prospero. Been awful quiet lately, hasn't it? Guess that means I'll have to be extra loud to breathe some life back into this place.

I think today I might like to see how insightful you are, or if you're all the braindead idiots you act as. So I'm going to share with you the words of the second greatest poet of my time.

It doesn't make sense. Humans are obsessed with finding and keeping happiness, even if their lives all eventually end. Yet this one doesn't want to be happy, at least not permanently.

Hm, you don't find it a good philosophy?

Both are confusing. I was just getting used to people wanting happiness, and now someone doesn't.

Humans are confusing creatures, kid.

But I should correct you. Nowhere in there did they say they didn't want happiness.

I imagine it must be especially frustrating for someone like yourself to see people succeed simply because they've gotten too complacent to think to push their boundaries. Am I right, Ms. Drake?

Hmph--frustrating? I don't get frustrated. Annoyed, on the other hand...

I hate shortsighted people. Enjoying life is one thing, but enjoying it to the point where you can't even comprehend looking for more? It's damn depressing to watch.

My apologies. It's an understandable feeling, though. What's the point in living if you're not going to make something of it?

Hell if I know. I never saw much point to standing idle.

I suppose some people enjoy the sense of security. Personally, I find things boring when they're too easy, but to each his own. More opportunities for those of us that look for them.

For me at least, it's a small break but even I'm getting bored. Maybe after twenty years of fighting, I can't really go back to what I considered a lifestyle.

I'm bored. I don't have any army to fight, world's already been circumnavigated, and I don't have anyone that needs shooting.

Well there is Caliban but even shadows aren't much of a challenge either lately. Maybe I need to reach the deeper areas.
