[The video feed clicks on to show Yuri sitting back on the railings of one of the tall buildings. One of her hands is holding onto the railing while the other is holding the device. Based on her positioning, if she lets go; she'll fall off. One might think it's a accidental video until she speaks.]

Correct me if I'm wrong. This is America, right? Despite the whole shadows and full moon nonsense, it looks pretty normal. I even picked up some flyers to Florida.

[ A beat passes ]

Can anyone answer me to why we get brought back to life here. I've been wanting to test it out myself, but I figured it'd be best to ask first.

Here's a hint, missy. [A very small pause as Izaya's smirking on his part.] Nobody had an exact answer yet.

[She can hear the smirk, and honestly, she isn't appreciating it. Still, she won't comment on it. Instead just giving him a visual huff.]

Really, how interesting. [droll] Than it certainly looks like something that I'll have to test myself.

Quickly resorting to yourself, eh? [Le shrug.] Why and how, if I may ask?

Why? Obviously because I don't have a fear of dying, especially if I'm just going to come back. The how should be pretty obvious too.

Not very obvious, actually. There's like, a lot of way to die.

[Yuri allows a small smirk to form.]

Allow me to demonstrate.

[With that, she allows her hand to let out of the handrail causing her body to fall off the edge. Except that her legs were still keeping her from crashing down to the ground. If anyone without strong legs had done this than it would ended with them falling. So now Yuri is hanging by her legs with a rather neutral expression.]

Except without my legs supporting me.

[That was good, except doesn't satisfies Izaya enough.]

Well, they are still. Why don't we see what will happen if we're going with the condition you spoke?

[Yuri's eyes narrow before she pulls herself back up.]

Sounds to me like you want to see me kill myself. Unfortunately, I'm not planning on doing it on video for some stranger.

I thought it was the purpose of this network post, yes? To test how death affects us?

Not saying that isn't the point. Just that I'd rather see who I'm preforming for.

No one understands it, but I strongly advise against getting yourself killed. It is hardly a pleasant experience.

[ How can she say it so casually and with that look on her face? It bothers her to think of someone being content with their death. So many other Servants weren't, so how can a young maiden feel that way? ]

Yup! I was dead when I came here, so I'm still technically dead. Besides death is kinda a joke anyways.

We're obviously from two different ends of the spectrum. I hated my life, and when I died there wasn't a problem. Than dying just became a natural occurrence that happened in my afterlife.

So that is how it is.
You are right in that respect.
Being from the other end makes it difficult to understand your reasoning with it.
So dying is something commonplace in your world?

It is, you could die four times a day with no problem. Except some pain. No one thought anything of it.

We dunno if there's a reason we're even here; why something about this place makes a mockery of life and death is a bit more complex than that, I think. Or hope.

...Anywhoo, yeah. America. Though I guess it's a part of America no one else had heard of 'till they got here.

The only other place I can think that would play with lives like that would be purgatory.

So unless this the purgatory version of America, I'm not sure what to think.

Considering how every fictional account of purgatory seems to be "so boring you wish you were dead, then realize you're already dead" you might be on to something, there.

I came from purgatory myself, so I find it to to be the only reason someone like me would be here has to be something to do with death.

Do you mean you come from a place called purgatory, or was that implication it's a literal I-have-already-died type purgatory?

The latter, I'm already dead so death is pretty much a joke for me.

Well, I can tell you that going through the process here doesn't really give any answers that aren't "Ow."

I died here once, a few months back. Not very enjoyable, lemme tell ya.

So I'm guessing it was just a load of pain than you came back to live later.

Not as much as I woulda expected, considering, but yeah. Ressurection leaves a body sore. I really, really wouldn't recommend it.

That sounds a bit like back home, except there it only took you a few hours to come back to life. Here I've heard it can take up to a week.

A week and change for me - ten days I think? Guess my brain's trying to trivialize the event as much as my body did.

It's not a problem. What's the actual point of fearing death, especially if you can come back to life. It's just a pointless scaring tool for people who haven't seen it happen. A joke.

Dunno about back in purgatory, but here it'd be best not to tempt fate, no? Who knows if there's some kinda "back to life limit" or something.

See, that's the point. I'm dead, where am I going to go if I die here? A separate heaven or maybe this is my ticket back to where I belong.

That's a fair enough guess, but I'm sure some people in the "died-in-Prospero" club are also members of the "already dead at home" club, and came back to life without a hitch.

True, meaning that it probably just won't be a easy way home.

It's a decent theory; might even go towards explaining those mass-returns we had a bit back, but I dunno if it's on the money.

Well, I can't say I think it's a good idea -- I mean, I've been saying as much the past few minutes and all. But if your heart's set on it I doubt I can make ya think otherwise.
