34: Coffee Mishaps in a Tea House [video/action]

[It's mid-day and Saori has taken refuge the upstairs base of the Elysium tea house when the feed flickers on. Of course, Saori doesn't realize it's on. She's looking a bit ragged than usual and lying on the couch. Why's that? Everything in her daily routine has been going just fine.]

Ugh....seriously, what just happened out there? It's like all of a sudden, everyone suddenly got so...charming and it's freaking me out. Had to restrain myself from flipping some of those guests. Nothing's really different the usual though.

[She notices some of the paperwork she left on the coffee table and takes the first paper. It looks like an invoice of sort. She skims it and then sits up.]

What...Pheromone coffee?! I never order this! No wonder....the address was off. I doubled checked and then.... Great now what?

[She slumps back down on the couch when the feed cuts off. If anyone is in the tea house, they're welcome to pester her. Everyone on the network would've eventually gotten a key by now.]

[Saori lifts her head to see who's up there. She cracks a small smile.]

Yeah, a little title. I found out what's been going on with our coffee drinking guests though.

[She holds up the invoice and waves it.]

You mean the way they've been kind of... different today?

[She tilts her head curiously at the invoice and moves to take a look.]

Pheromone coffee...? Wait a minute, don't tell me--

[ Know what's even more embarrassing than that? It's when Saber is in her suit and is mistaken often for a charming young man. Eventually she makes her way back to where Saori is, shutting the door behind her with a sigh. ]

I have never attracted such female attention until this very day. [ It's a comment to herself, as she's not realized Saori is back there with her. ]

[Did every girl go "Ooh Saber!" and in a twenty mile radius, bodices got ripped and guys became gay? Saori sits up and turns to see who came in.]

Oh Arturia...

[She immediately turns around though.]

You drank the coffee, didn't you?

[ Quite possibly. Saber's #swag is out of control thanks to her appetite. ]

A bit of it, yes. I thought it would be rude of me to stop by and not help support the shop in any way I can.

*Margulis was just after a cup of tea. Is that so much to ask? With the behavior of the other customers (and his own embarrassing difficulty tearing his eyes away from some of the more attractive men in the store), apparently it is. So to spare his own dignity, he'll be heading upstairs with the intent to wait until the store itself thins out some.*

[Naturally she goes and checks on him.]

So let me guess...the usual minus the weird stuff going on downstairs?

*He's looking somewhat annoyed, although it's party to cover up how much he's hoping nobody he knows saw him downstairs.*

That was my intent. And whatever that 'weird stuff' is, it had better not last long.

[Diarmuid had found he actually liked coffee--tea was a little better in his opinion, but this wasn't bad.]

Apparently we've been given a stock of "Pheromone Coffee" which is doing weird things to everyone.

Oh god, Francis is gonna kill me if she finds out. C'mon, upstairs now before everyone decides to fight over who wants to spend some time with you.

[So the stars aligned properly and Devola had an off day. Two of them, in fact. A double-off-day. Might as well spend it quietly, with a warm drink and a book, right?]

[Only, girl's a lot more perceptive than she lets on normally. So, after a few minutes downstairs... knock-knock, Saori.]

Boss. I think someone spiked the drinks.

[She sighs in defeat. Guess who's been trying not to recommend the coffee but no one's listening to her?]]

From what I can tell, it's not alcohol. I'm trying to figure out what exactly but I'm gonna do something about the rest of the coffee tonight.
