*The first sound the phone picks up is a gunshot and the sharp sound of metal hitting something hard. Then there's a spinning view of the sky before it finally settles to record a tense Allen, clutching his crossbow with Hadranial flying behind him staring down a small boy, a mixture of fear, determination and hurt anger on his face as the child points one of his guns at him.*
So much for calling for help. What're you going to do now? Run and hide? Hah, what else can you do? You're just a pathetic scientist, you're useless on the battlefield.
Just...just shut up! I'm not helpless!
Yeah right. What're you going to do, shoot me with your crossbow? I'm shaking in my boots.
*Allen's hands tighten on his crossbow, holding the weapon surprisingly naturally for a "pathetic scientist" despite the small amount of blood dripping from his right hand.*
Of course you would say that. You're another one of this place's nightmares, trying to get to me.
*The boy smirks, far too cruelly for that young face.*
And what if I am? That doesn't mean I'm not telling the truth. Admit it, you're just dead weight. Though I guess now you're just about to be dead.
*The boy fires his gun, but evidently, Allen knows whoever the figment is based on well enough to see it coming. He manages to move quickly enough that the bullet just grazes his arm and ignores the pain, assuming he even notices it with how quickly things are happening now.
He fires his crossbow, but a bullet knocks the bolt out of the air. Also expected. He's already reloaded his crossbow by the time the first bolt hits the ground, Hadraniel moving to use the more powerful of his two piercing attacks.
The boy dodges, moving gracefully enough that it's clear that he's been doing this for years. He fires again while still on the move and Allen can't quite get clear in time, taking one bullet to the collar and another to the leg. The shots earn a gasp of pain, but Allen doesn't falter. He's felt worse.
The angel attacks again, but the boy leaps into the air, kicking off of the Persona's head and unloading both of his guns into it from above. Allen grits his teeth as his own body reflects some of the pain, but doesn't miss his chance. He fires his second bolt, this one landing solidly in the young looking Shadow's elbow. He drops one gun as his hand goes limp, tendon severed by the shot, and stows the other with an angry glare as he lands easily on the ground.
Allen scrambles to reload his crossbow again, but the blood on his fingers slows it down enough that he isn't prepared when a fireball appears in his opponent's good hand. Allen's eyes go wide as the Shadow throws the fireball and he dives to the ground to avoid it, dropping his crossbow in the heavy landing. He starts to push himself up, but the Shadow is fast and drives a foot hard into his back, just barely missing the spine.
Allen's eyes close in pain at the stomp, but his hand reaches for the gun at his side. The apparent child is forming another fireball in his hand when Allen shoots, only managing to graze his target but succeeding in forcing him off of him. He coughs as he tries again to stand and barely succeeds, aided by a healing spell that eases some of the injuries. But his movements are sluggish still, and his opponent easily avoids his sloppily aimed shots. He'd made a mistake in not taking a vital shot when he had his pick of targets, but he didn't have time to reflect on how the thing's appearance was affecting him now.
Another fireball comes his way, and all he can do is move so that his left arm takes the brunt of the injury. But in the movement, his eyes fall on the phone and he notices that it's lit up, recording.*
About a mile south of Caliban! I need help, but be careful!
*Abruptly, a white beam engulfs the screen and the feed cuts out.*
(Offlines are encouraged, but he will answer messages after someone rescues him.)

Some of his injuries from the video have been healed up, but he has several new ones now, including bullet holes and laser burns. Some of the former look like they narrowly missed hitting something besides muscle or bone, too. But for his part, the chance to rest seems to have given him a chance to clear his head, since the Shadow has some injuries that are more than grazes.
Allen's a bit too preoccupied with narrowly dodging yet another fireball to notice Gaignun's arrival, though.*
[Action]
Allen! Get down! [He knew this was a shadow of his brother, he knew. But it was still hard for him to actually aim at the shadow...so his shots probably aren't hitting.]
[Action]
*The Shadow glances over as those shots go wide, raising an eyebrow exactly like Jr. would at something ridiculous.*
What the hell was that? I'm not sure if you're trying to kill me or salute, though your aim's crap either way.
[Action]
No. He has to get Allen out of trouble. "But the next few won't be so bad!"
[Action]
*He raises his guns, one each pointed at Gaignun and Allen. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what's about to happen, so Allen's already ducking to the side when the Shadow pulls the triggers. He lands on the ground-one more thing he's going to be feeling tomorrow-but escapes with just a graze from the bullet.*
[Action]
Damn it!
[Action]
You don't know when to give up, do you?
Probably not, but I'm pretty sure now still isn't the right time.
*The Shadow snorts and pulls the trigger again, but only gets a loud click from the empty gun.*
Dammit! Again?!
[Action]
And so he fired, and this time he didn't miss. His angle was wrong for a lethal shoot but he managed to get the shadow in the shoulder]
[Action]
You're gonna regret that.
Not again...
*Allen struggles to his feet as a ball of flame appears in the Shadow's hand. A wave of its arm sends a sheet of fire out toward both of them.*
[Action]
[Action]
The Shadow, meanwhile, is still fire elemented and still doesn't like being frozen. But it can still thaw fairly easily and throw another fireball at Gaignun.*

[Action]
Here...get up. It still isn't safe here.
[Action]
Ugh...if Jr. ever actually shows up here, remind me not to get him in a bad mood.
[Action]
If Jr showed up for you...I wonder what one I will see.
[Action]
*He at least manages to stay on his own feet, casting a Dia on himself to close up some of his injuries.*
Hopefully whoever yours is isn't really a fighter.
[Action]
Though to be fair...all the non fighters I know, I wouldn't be able to hurt.
[Action]
*Last time he's ever working late near a full moon...*
[Action]
[Action]
*But since when were either of them known for good luck?*
