...Ready or not, here comes Alice!

[Have an eyeful of shaky, blurry scenery. It seems the video feed of the phone has accidentally been turned on, and the person holding it is running around without realizing she did it.

The little girl stops and examines the spots behind dumpsters and benches, as if she's looking for something. She seems to be...playing a game? After a few moments of this fruitless search, she comes to a full stop.]

Where is Alice? Alice didn't think Alice would be too far away...Alice thought Alice was just hiding. [Her voice becomes sad and a bit tearful.] Alice has to be around this place. Alice wouldn't leave Alice all alone. Nuh uh! No way! [But she quickly becomes determined again, after a small sniffle. She takes a look at her surroundings.]

...Where is this, anyways? Alice hasn't been here before.

[Alice follows him wherever he's going.]

Hehe, you got it!

[Montage time! He is gonna take her to the movie theater, the arcade, and the mall. And also the park, 'cause she is a kid after all. And, very unwisely, he's gonna show her where the dungeon is. When they get there, he'll turn to her and ask a question.]

Do you know about the dark hour yet?

[Oh boy she really enjoyed that! Such a fun place.

Alice looks at the dungeon.]

Dark hour? Nuh-uh. Is it a game?

Well, sort of. But it's kind of a dangerous game, and you could get hurt if you're not careful.

See, every night at midnight time sort of stops for an hour. And all these monsters come out. If you stay inside you'll be safe, but we have to beat these monsters if we're ever gonna get out of here. That's why a lot of us go out and fight them.

[letsplaylady]

[She listens patiently. It sort of reminds Alice of where she used to be. But, then again, her friend Alice mainly fought the bad things, back then. She just helped.]

Alice doesn't wanna get hurt. Alice doesn't like dangerous stuff, either, it's scary. [Even though her idea of fun is pretty dangerous in itself sometimes.]

If Alice was here, Alice wouldn't be so scared. Alice would fight the monsters, too.

It's okay. Like I said, you don't have to fight if you don't want to. And if you ever were in trouble, you have something called a 'persona' that will help you out.

Everyone here has one.

[letsplaylady]

Persona?

[She parrots the word questioningly.]

Alice has one? Alice didn't know that.

Everyone here does. They're really strong. Do you want to see mine?

Uh-huh. Will you really show Alice?

Sure! Watch this.

[He takes a step back and gestures dramatically and unnecessarily.]

Pegasus!

[A large winged horse appears behind him.]

[Alice is in shock and awe here. That is the coolest thing she has ever seen.]

A...amazing! So neat!

[She can't really say much else.]

[He grins.]

I bet yours'll be cool too.

How can I see my 'persona' John?

[She's just as excited about her own, now, too. If all of them are that cool...]

Well... I got mine by fighting shadows. Persona just sort of appear when you need them.

Oh.

I'll get mine someday, then!

[She was sad at first, but then all smiles when she decided that. She looks up at the winged horse again.]

What does yours do?

If you want, I'll try to help you get it.

Mine only does one trick right now, but I hear they learn new ones as they get stronger. Here, I'll show you.

[He turns back to Pegasus, and then gestures down the street.]

Pegasus! Garu!

[Behold: The Windy Thing.]

[Have another grin and a laugh. She's really getting a kick outta this.]

I wanna see my persona, too! I wanna know what kindsa things it can do! If it can do neat stuff like that...Alice would really like that!

I bet it does a ton of neat stuff. And if you want, I'll take you out during the dark hour some night and we'll see if we can get it to appear.

[That's it John, unwisely encourage a little girl to fight dangerous monster so she can get a cool summon. There's surely no way this can end badly....]

Hmm...Alice doesn't have a weapon. Can't use magic anymore, either...
