[When April appears on the feed she looks, well, scruffier than usual, with some smudges of dirt on her cheek and her hair a bit messier than usual. But she still has her usual cheery smile.]

Right, so, I got a couple of things to say today, let's see...

... So, ah, can anyone who knows how to sew help me make a Halloween costume, please? I would really appreciate it and I promise to pay you back somehow.

Next thing, who thinks a horror movie marathon in the hotel lobby is something we should have? Since I've heard they're pretty fun.

And- [She's cut off when this little guy pops his head into view to sniff at the phone, before April pulls him away with a quiet laugh.] I found this guy when I was going out for a walk and it looks like he's homeless, so, uh... Hey, Ledah, is it okay if I at least give him a bath at our place?

[The puppy leans forward to try to sniff and lick at the phone again, while April tries to stop him.]

Thank you! I just wanted to ask since he's a bit- [The puppy squirms in her arms as it tries to lick at her face next, causing her to lean away.] ... A bit excitable.

I'll learn to deal with it.

Right, okay, then I'll see you soon!

[And sometime later, later will be walking into the apartment with one squirmy puppy in her arms. And April looks as though she was caught in a dust storm or something.]

Hi, I'm back!

Are you all right? [Worried.]

[She huffs a stray piece of hair out her eyes as she gives him a reassuring smile as the puppy finally calms down to blink over at him.]

Hm? I'm fine! ... Y'know, besides looking like a mess.

Hm. He is quite energetic. [He stares back at the dog.]

[The dog stares, and then starts to wag it's tail.] I think that's cause he's young... And it seems like he likes you already.

I don't understand why. I just looked at it.

Apparently that was enough for it. [She laughs as the dog leans forward in her arms a bit, trying to peer more at Ledah.]

Does he have a name?

Hmmm, no. He didn't have a collar or anything like that around when I found him.

Then do we get to name him?

Ah, well... Y-yeah, but only if we keep him...

Um, can we keep him?

If that is what you would like.

[Blink, blink. The she gives a big, happy smile.]

Ah, yes, I would! Thank you, Ledah! I would kiss you, but, uh... Face full of dirt and squirmy puppy in my arms.

I understand. Later will be fine.

Ehe, right! ... Okay, I should probably go wash up and give this guy a bath... Do you want to help?

It might be a difficult task. I'll assist you.

Thanks, Ledah. Just hope you're ready to get soaked then, since washing a dog is never a dry process. [And into the bathroom she goes, placing the puppy in the bathtub as she rummages in her bag to examine some dog shampoo she bought earlier.]

[He discards most of his red robe and comes into the bathroom with the minimum on.] I'm ready.

[April nods as she ties some of her hair back.] Okay, let's start.

[And April wasn't kidding about the 'washing a dog isn't a dry process'. When they finally manage to get shampoo on it and rinse it off, they probably got splashed more than once and April looks as though someone dumped a few buckets of water over her.]

... He splashes a lot for such a little dog.

Yes, he does. I wasn't prepared for that.

[She giggles quietly, before giving a quiet sneeze. Which the puppy mimics.] Well, luckily we're nearly done...

[Now ifting puppy out of bathtub and onto towel on floor.] ... Ah, can you pass me another towel, Ledah?

[Passes another towel.] Is that all there is to it?

[Taking the towel to dry off the puppy.] Thanks. And almost, since after you dry them, you usually have to brush them too. The main problem with cleaning dogs is that they squirm and make the process a lot longer than it sounds.
