Unit 10 - [Video/back dated to just before the time between Christmas day and the 26th]

[Paranoia may be getting other people to stick close to home, but for Gaignun it seems to be driving him out in the open. So the video opens up to the view from the roof of the hotel. It's his voice that people hear however.]

Christmas. Just after the longest day of the year, it signals the slow return of the light of day. I think that's what we need right now.

So Merry Christmas, and look forward to the return of the light.

[He lowers the phone so that he can turn it off, but it catches the image of a bottle of red wine, white wine, and a dark bottle of beer before the video clicks off.]

All the adults like to drink to solve their problems. But alcohol tastes disgusting and it doesn't do anything. I don't understand it.

I'm not drinking to solve my problems. It's more a glass of homage to some people I was very close to. That small of an amount wont even get me tipsy.

Attachment. Attachment brings joy and happiness, but being parted from those you love, brings loneliness.

Loneliness is not the most pleasant feeling, but it has the effect of making the happiness you feel when you see them again much better.
