[ Garviel walks long the docks of Prospero, as the time approaches the Dark Hour. His blade slung over one shoulder, pistol at his waist, expression cold. Dare you approach the grim warrior? ]

[Issei dares. Well, it's more that he's walking that way anyway, and Garviel is there by chance. He's... certainly intimidating, but Issei is trying to get used to that. 'Trying' being the key word.]

I will not turn my back on it, certainly. [ He will walk quietly with Issei for a bit, stoic. ]

The dark hour comes. Are you prepared?

[It's not quite that Devola dares approach Garviel. Rather, during his walk Garviel will come across the woman sitting on the edge of the docks, her legs dangling over the side and lute in her hands. She doesn't seem to be playing any song in particular, merely moving her hands mindlessly, allowing flow-of-thought to guide them. The overall effect, while not what one could classically consider "good", is far from dissonant. It's fairly melodic and somewhat melancholic, actually.

Needless to say, she doesn't notice the large man at first. Though she'll turn to look at him and offer a wave when he approaches closer.]

Good evening, Devola. It is almost time for the storm. [ He looks out over the ocean. ]

I am curious to see if there are shadows on the docks.

Oh, it's almost midnight? Ah, drat. I lost track of time.

[She follows the large warrior's gaze out to the horizon] Probably. Seems like the pop up everywhere else. Did you know they're actually inside buildings, sometimes?

Yes... I understand that Wulfenbach is undertaking a study of them, of some sort. Myself, I just purge them whenever I see one.

Ah, the guy who referred to himself as a Baron? I'll have to talk with him about that, I was thinking of doing some nosing about on them, myself. How'd it go, "know they enemy"?

[Tatsuma approaches from the side, making some last-second adjustments to his gauntlets. When he's close enough to be clearly seen, he gives a nod of acknowledgement to the large warrior.]

[It's pretty obvious Garviel is, so he's not even going to ask. Instead, he's going to cast a look around the area, searching for Shadows.]

Not yet, however, I'm trying to see if they'll manifest on or near the water.

They don't appear out of Prospero. I don't know if it counts for water, though.

[ One can easily assume that Saber is hardly alone - with that wound she has and how quick she is to throw herself into combat, she more than likely has a guardian nearby. Where they are though is hard to determine, but she herself is far away from the docks and water, almost in the distance. ]

[ Garviel looks to her, grey eyes locking with green for a moment, and will cross to her, his tread heavy in the darkness before midnight. ]

[ Standing by Lancer's side during the Dark Hour at least makes her feel better than she's not able to participate, but she doesn't go in alone. ]

Yes. I am curious to see if the Shadows will manifest on or near open water, or whether they are only attracted to places where humans dwell.

[ He smiles, briefly. ]

If they are here, I am glad I shall be facing them with you.

[ She might have to get close to the water in that case. ]

Lancer is nearby should I require aid. Somewhere in these parts at least. He would not leave me on my own without a weapon.
