2nd Shot -- [Accidental Video || Dark Hour]

[When the video first comes up, the video is lying on the floor. There's nothing on the video at first but the scuffling of footsteps. Then two shots go off.]

Shit!

[The phone is scooped off the ground, and the video jerks around as Gilbert takes off. Another shot goes off as he's running.]

Why isn't this-

[Gilbert turns and stops suddenly. Dead end. He turns. The camera shows a low level monster standing there, tongue rolling out of its mouth. Gilbert takes a step back and shoots again. The bullet misses. The monster looms closer. Gilbert takes aim. Click. Out. Another step back. Then there's a odd light. Suddenly, the monster is gone.]

It's about time.

[The video jerks around. Oh, look, Gilbert's persona.]

You're... my persona?

Indeed. Now, you better hurry.



[ ooc: If you're interested in a mini-fight plot so Gilbert can get back to his apartment, by all means, make it an action. Any other interaction is fine as well. ]

[Remember that little girl who was nice enough to show you how to use the cell phone? She happens to be nearby, has a bow in her hands, and just fired an arrow at another oncoming Shadow. It quickly perishes and dissolves into nothing as Madoka approaches Gilbert.]

Are you okay? I can heal you with my Persona's magic, if you need it.

[Gilbert looks back at her, surprise on his face.]

Ah, Madoka... no, I'm fine. I'm just...

[This is his first time in the Dark Hour. He's confused, and it shows.]

I see... It's good that you didn't get hurt, Gilbert-san.

[She lets out a sigh and smile of relief, but she quickly becomes concerned again once she notices his confusion. Right. This is no time to dilly-dally.]

I can explain everything, but for now let's concentrate finding a safe place, okay?

[Gilbert checked his gun, then started putting more bullets in the barrel of his revolver.]

I live just a few streets away from here. It shouldn't take too long to get there... but is that a good idea? I would be leaving you alone after that...

[Madoka shakes her head, and gives a reassuring smile.]

It's fine! By the time I finish explaining things over there, the Dark Hour should be over. Even then, my Persona lets me sense where the Shadows are, so I can avoid the stronger ones.

Can all Personas do that?

From what I've seen, nope! It's an ability unique to me, along with being able to detect their weaknesses. That's why I'm more fit for support, rather than fighting. Though as long as I can help people this way, I don't mind at all!

[Sure, the Dark Hour was scary and all, but... Madoka feels like she's making a difference now, rather than uselessly puttering around while her friends did the fighting. In a way, being in this situation felt fulfilling.]

Shall we go, then? Before the Shadows decide to close in on us.
