Video 3
[Her phone sits on a small tower of books on her desk. Saori doesn't look at her phone, but instead looks out of her hotel room's window.]
It's funny. I might be in the minority for saying this, but I'm not sure if I want to go back to my home world. Outside of the whole Shadow Hour and Personas deal, it's...rather nice here. In a way, it's given me a second chance to life.
My home world was rather mundane and humans don't have special powers. Well, at least that's what I thought until I was spirited away by a supernatural creature. The very last thing I do remember was facing eye to eye with it and...well, you could guess what happened. Besides, if I were able to get back, assuming I'll be brought back to life, there's really not much waiting for me.
[Now she turns and faces the screen.]
Still, I'll help everyone with gather information about our personas and shadows. I'm still traiing but I'll give it my all to support everyone. If you need to contact me during the day, I work at the high school's cafeteria.
[Saori smiles, but it's not her usual cheery ones and reaches over to turn off the feed.]

I think a lot of people would agree with you, actually. About second chances. I'm trying to look at it that way.
Yeah. I get to do a job I like and I've met very interesting people here. I know some people here are frustrated with living here, but I'm going to try and help them out as much as I can.

There's actually a few of us that could be considered dead in their home world. I don't think we've ever met. I'm Saori Nakagawa.
Well, I don't really remember dying...but my friend does, so I guess that's it right?

I have died before, Saori. It is far less frightening than you would assume. Though I understand your feelings -- to be given a second chance at life is much preferable to returning home to nothingness.
You are lucky in that you have no obligations calling you back.
[Good luck trying to get yourself out of this one.]
W-when did you...I thought...Where were you this whole time? I didn't see you since that event at the casino!
Well...there might be one or two but maybe it can't be helped.
I suppose so, but at least here we have a second life. I hope you don't mind me asking but are there people here from your world too?
As to when I died... quite some time ago, suffice to say.
[Saori. Are you going to push this. Do you want to open this can of worms.
Because this is the FEELINGS event and once you do, you can't go back.]
You were still on the island this whole time? You could've at least said something before you went off on your own like that! I don't care if you have experience in battle compared to me, a little common courtesy would've been nice. I was worried about you. Yes, I know it's silly of me to be worried about someone I only recently met but...I can't help it.
[She calms down now, thankfully since the important thing is that he was still alright.]
I can understand how someone like you would have obligations you need to return to. Mine's are probably quite trivial compared to yours.
We live in the same building, and you never thought to... say... walk down the hallway and visit? I haven't been sleeping in the pile of useless scrap I've been trying to turn into a proper lab, you know.
[I mean, it was tempting. But for some reason he's just not as manic a Spark in Prospero as he was back home.]
And, ah... I find most things seem trivial next to war. It certainly isn't a reflection you or your responsibilities.
Normally, I wouldn't overlook as something as big as that...
Sorry, I didn't mean to go on that rant like that.
Most of my obligations deal with my family's history. I know, I know, dwelling in the past isn't a healthy thing to do, but I just want some closure.
I assure you, I am more than used to people attempting to nanny me, no matter how many times I prove that I do not need or want it. A man who has already experienced death is afraid of very little, and this seems to grate on the natural preservation tendencies of others.
And on the contrary -- examining the past is an excellent way not to repeat one's mistakes in the future. I imagine some traumatic event occurred within your family, hence the search for closure?

It started with my mother's death. She died from an illness when I was seven. That wasn't the strange part though. A year after that, my father went missing. I saw him off at the train station in the morning and my little brother and I never saw him again. We ended up being raised by our grandmother until I took over. Then, four years ago, my little brother disappeared. Both times the police looked into it but nothing came out of the investigations.
It always bugged me that they would do such a thing. And I can't shake this feeling they are no longer... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bog you down with this.
I should know. My best friends have been missing without a trace for twenty years.

In the mean time I was working on finishing my father's work. He collected many books and scrolls of folklore and mythology and wanted to translate them all. But now that I can't get to them to finish up the translations, there's not much I can do about that.

But at least if you ever got back home, you'd be alive and you can still turn things in your favor. I don't think I'll be able to gain anything if I were to go back.
