[As the Dark Hour came to an end, so did the horde of Shadows that had gathered in the street. In the middle of the horde was a beautiful woman with ankle-length hair, clutching a pair of nail-like daggers with chains hooked onto their ends.

In Rider's mind, though the threat was gone, there was still more than enough reason to keep her guard up. This was a place unfamiliar to her. She doesn't know what causes those monsters to appear. Her status as a Servant is gone, and she can tell from her strength and speed. Breaker Gorgon is gone, yet she seems unable to petrify anything with her gaze. But most importantly, she doesn't know where Sakura is.

Looking around, Rider notices a cell phone on the ground. No one in her family uses one, but she's seen other people around Fuyuki use it. How difficult can it be?]

If anyone can hear this, I have three questions I require answers to. First, I wish to know where I am. Second, I want to know what those...creatures were that I just fended off.

And third, I am looking for a girl with waist-length purple hair and a red ribbon, and want to know if anybody has seen her.

Hm, I don't know anyone in the city - Prospero, in America - with that description. I imagine she must be back at your home.

As for those creatures, those are the Shadows that we fight every night.

America? Impossible. We could not have crossed an entire ocean in a matter of minutes.

But you're in a city called Prospero, and I can only assume you're referring to the Shadows.

It's somewhere in America, though I don't know precisely where.

Unfortunately, I admit I can't give many specifics on that either. We know that they exist, they only appear for an hour each night, and that more powerful ones appear when there's a full moon. What specifically they are and where they come from, I'm not certain.

Yes, they do that. As I said, they only appear for an hour--outside of that, the city is reasonably safe.

Creatures that show up at midnight, that the ordinary citizens here don't recognize. I don't know why we call them that, actually.

[So someone or something brought them here, no one knows how, and there are creatures that appear in the streets, but only for an hour every night. This is beginning to sound ridiculous.]

Is there a way to return home? I am needed elsewhere, and should not be wasting time here.

It's possible to leave the city, yes. But I'm not entirely sure this world is quite the same as what any of us have been taken from.

Can you describe these creatures?

They vary in side and shape. Always inhuman, and always bent on attacking and destroying us. Those that appear at the full moon are huge and too powerful for us to take on alone - it requires all of us to defeat them.

[...So that's it. Someone must have whisked her away from home using the Second Magic. That would make returning home even more complicated. Rider doubted if even Rin could manage something like returning home after being displaced from her world.

This meant that she was stuck here. Stuck, separated from her Master...]

Has there been anything that would indicate a path home? Any evidence whatsoever?

Nothing yet. I've been here for several months now, and as far as I know I was among the first to arrive.

Let me think - a little more than three weeks.

Sakura could take care of herself, and Shirou was there -- admittedly, he was still trying to recover his abilities, but he could at least do something. But Rider nevertheless worried for Sakura's well-being if she were kept away from home for such a long period of time.]

Strange as it may sound, it seems that all of us brought here eventually awaken to a particular kind of power that enables us to fight Shadows with less difficulty. They're called Personas--I would compare them to some kind of summoning magecraft, but I don't think it really applies.

Why would I ever feel the need to do that? A king is born with the right to say whatever he wishes, you know.

Are these fights that predictable?
