Everyone listed in your contacts are in the same situation. We've all been pulled from our home world/dimension to Prospero, an island off the United States' east coast. Time wise, it's 2011.

In the meantime, you could go for a job. Most of us who aren't students are so we can have a stable life for now.

Just a warning: don't go outside when it hits midnight. I don't care if you have experience in fighting or not. These creatures called Shadows appear during that time and can't be killed by conventional weapons.

No, I'm not! Well, there is a method but we're still trying to figure out how they work since not everyone has found their version of it yet. It's called a Persona. They only show up during midnight but they posses skills to defeat the Shadows.

Yes, it sounds like a video game but I assure you it's not. Some of us have died here but were revived. That doesn't mean we get away without a hitch. For all we know we might have to pay a price for each time we're brought back.
