If we're going to stay here for a while, we should find a place to live.

The hotel is apparently free of charge. I have asked the staff there, but they don't seem to know.

[Which is both surprising and suspicious.]

Murder mystery! You gather a bunch of people together in one place, and suddenly someone dies! And everybody who showed up is a suspect, and you have to figure out who the killer is amongst yourselves.[It's obvious to her.] It's what I would do.

I know they're giving out restaurant coupons for free.

But if that's true, then where would the crime be? The hotel?

It could be anywhere in town! Though I bet if we're supposed to stay in the hotel and eat in whatever restaurants the coupons are good for, that would limit things.

Yes. It'll be easier to start searching in a small number of places and move out from there.
