3RD DAY - [Voice]

We all managed to get out of that full moon thing in one piece. Since it's like last month, we can assume another one might come up for next month's, too.

[He pause, just for a moment.]

Also, I've been thinking of compiling data on the Shadows. Mostly on their strengths and weaknesses we know so far. I'm pretty sure some of us are aware of one particular Shadow type that's immune to physical hits. [How many people hit those Visceral Mayas before they realise it's futile by now?] It'd be helpful if we put together a database about them, so we can refresh our memories on the enemies. Or be careful of who to avoid.

...On a related note, make sure you're with someone that can use magic. If you can use magic, learn to fight or have someone that can fight with you. It's dangerous to face Shadows you can't even put a dent on alone.

[A thoughtful pause.]

Hmm... guess I'll start from the top then. Did people start acting weird like they did this time? With the whole going-gamble-crazy, that is.

Hm...I think a lot of people didn't come to school that time. Or a less people outside in the city.

Hmm... weird. It made everyone kinda antisocial, then?

It seemed so. I talked with some people in class, and they complained about coming out.

One that makes people gamble, one that makes people hide in their homes. [She "hums" thoughtfully.]

What did it look like? Not expecting there to be an obvious relation like the giant floaty pair of dice was for gambling, but...

Hm...I remember that it has a lot of legs...and blue head?

...Spiders make people hide? [A shifting sound, she's shrugging even though it's not visible.] Yeah, I've got nothing.

Did it do the same things this one did? Just kind of... hang out behind a mass of lesser shadows?

Same here.

Yeah, it did. And when we defeated all the smaller Shadows, the big one disappeared.

Well there's a trend that's easy to figure out at least - especially if a third one does the same.

Howzabout timing? Anything similar about the day-- well, nights, they popped up during?

All we gotta do is deal with whatever Shadow lackeys they choose next time.

Hm... Some of us noticed the big Shadows appeared during the full moon, with the week leading up to it have everyone affected.

Full moon? Hmm... [There's a shuffling sound. Newspapers.] Hey, you're right. Didn't even think of checking that. The other one was during the same, too?

...That's really, really handy. Makes them more predictable.

We can check the moon's cycle and prepare ourselves better for next time. It's easy to look up, since people like to know the moon's phases.

Yep! Hmm, what else... Oh! Did it kidnap anyone or anything like that?

Hm...No, it didn't. Only the pair of giant die kidnapped anyone so far.

Huh. Well, that's good I guess. Hopefully that's a one-time-only thing.

Can't really think of any question that are intensely relevant, myself. Anything else ya think was noteworthy about it?
