[People wandering around the Dark Hour may suddenly notice Tatsuma nearby. Which is odd, because in many cases, there won't exactly have been many routes for him to take, save jumping from the very rooftops. But it's not like he would do something like that, right?

Anyway, regardless of who you are, he'll pause to give a wave (with bare hands, even. Looks like he isn't wearing his usual gloves for some reason) before starting to go his own way. He's taking his time at least, so catching up to him shouldn't be a problem if you want to talk to him that much.]

[Maybe you just saw Tatsuma going the complete opposite way. Maybe you haven't encountered him at all tonight. In any case, he's here, pausing mid-run to take a look around as though searching for something - or possibly, someone.

On a closer inspection, he's looking decidedly battered. There's a nasty bruise on his cheek for one thing, and some dried blood on his chin. And that's only counting what is visible, what with long sleeved shirts and pants and all.

Bother him? Help him out? It's up to you!]

[Perhaps a little in need of time away from his brothers, Gaignun has been out 'investigating' this whole shadow thing when he catches sight of Tatsuma.]

Hey, are you alright?

Mm. I'm fine.

[Why yes, that bruise is looking mighty fine. A mighty fine shade of purple.]

Have you seen another me around?

[Gaignun shook his head, offering the boy a handkerchief for the blood on his chin.] I'm afraid I haven't. Are you having problems with them as well?

Yeah.

[He gives the handkerchief a quizzical look. Apparently he hasn't noticed his own blood, what with everything going on.]

[He moves it a little] You're bleeding, that can't be comfortable.

...Ah.

[He puts a hand to his face as he accepts the handkerchief, feeling the blood immediately. Well, at least he can wipe it off now so he won't concern too many other people.]

You're welcome. From the looks of it, you've had a rather tough time. Was it that 'other you' that did this?

[He nods.]

...Yeah.

[...Talkative kid.]

[It's alright, he's known way worse people for that.] Forgive me for prying, but has he said anything to you?

[He's testing a theory]

[It's slight, but he definitely tenses up a little at that.]

He did.

[And there's his answer.] I see, so that may be a common thread then...I'm sorry, it's just that someone I know had an experience where their shadow tried to tell them something they didn't want others to know.

Something... they didn't want others to know?

[He nods] I don't have much information yet, which is why I asked you. Are you going to be alright?

[Yet another nod.]

I'll be fine. I need to find him...

He seems to be leading you on quite the merry chase. [He feels sorry for the child, all beaten up like that. Though he does have to admire the determination.]

I see. I won't try and stop you, all I can say is be careful.

[He's not dying, so all things considered, he's in pretty good shape.]

You too. Especially if you see me again.

[Since it's not certain it really will be him again.]

Of course, I will be sure to do so. [He'll step aside to let him pass unhindered.]

[And so Tatsuma goes running off yet again in search of his shadow!

Hopefully he will fare better this time.]
