[If you are not in the hotel lobby, that's okay! V/V has set her phone up to record one of her 'songs'.

She's settled in one of the chairs with a guitar, and singing without any words while she plays accompaniment. Her voice is... 'angelic' is a bit cliche, but it fits, doesn't it? It definitely is worth a listen.

I don't know the right words yet for everything, so I don't try to sing them.

Smart enough way to do it, I guess. I don't really know many of the words for my favorite song, though. I just know how to sing it.

You get the gist of it though, right? Sometimes intonation speaks more than actual words, sometimes details are omitted but implied, and so on?

It's all very complicated.

Better than me trying to explain it, learning via immersion is probably best. You'll pick it up in no time.
