[Today is April's birthday, and while April has never even really celebrated her birthday before, she thought that after that whole 'fighting with your doubles and face your issues' thing, it would be nice to have a bit of fun. So, she decides to buy one new dress for herself (since it's thick enough to protect against the cold), and also decides to buy this thing called a 'kite'. It had caught her eye when she was walking past the store and after asking the store owner about it, it sounded like it could be fun.

So, she's found a large-ish open area in the park and is now trying to fly the kite. 'Try' being the keyword here since she manages to keep it in the air for a while before it crashes into a nearby tree... o-or into anybody nearby. So if you're in the park today and see a kite crash land into a tree or get whacked in the back of the head by a kite, the sheepish looking redhead is the reason behind it.]

[She shakes her head, and gives a few tugs on the string to bring the kite back to her. Though it seems to want to stay in the tree, prompting a small sigh from her.]

Not really, but I'm hoping I can get better with practice... But at least I can get it to fly for a bit before it crashes.

Ehe, thanks. I think the next time I do this, I should go somewhere that doesn't have trees.

... Ah, I'll be back in a sec. [Brb just gonna climb the tree to get the kite down.]

It's okay! This is good exercise for me anyway.

[She soon manages to untangle the kite from the tree and jumps back down to the ground with it. And she shakes some of the leaves off herself before making her way back over to him.] Ah, I should probably be more careful when I fly this.

When it flies low you could easily hit someone with it, or you could get it stuck somewhere harder to retrieve it from.

[Sheepish April is sheepish.]... Maybe I should try this at the beach next time. It's pretty empty and quiet there, s-so it shouldn't be a problem.

[She's quiet for a few moments as her expression turns thoughtful; it feels like the wind has died down now, so...] Well, I know what I'll be doing later, when the wind has picked up again. This was pretty fun, when I was able to get it to fly.

[She blinks and tilts her head slightly as she fidgets with the kite in her hands.]... Do you, um, want to try flying this?

[She gives him a nod and a smile.] Ah, let's go to the beach. It'll be easier to do try it there.

[She huffs at that, though she looks amused instead of annoyed, before heading off to the beach.]

[He follows quietly. He doesn't make much conversation.]

[April will probably chatter to him on the way there anyway. And it doesn't take long for them to get there, and it's soon windy enough that kite flying shouldn't be a problem. Though she underestimated how cold the sea breeze would be and shivers for a moment before shifting to get the kite ready.]

Let's see... [Hold on, just gonna fight with the string first.]

[It is a little chilly, isn't it. Ledah's never liked the cold.]

[Ledah is not the only one, judging by how April has her shoulders hunched up with a frown as she tries to untangle the string.]

No, it's okay, umm... [And then she pauses and frowns even more when the string somehow seems to be in the process of tying her fingers together.]... Um, yeah, i-if that's alright.

[It's a delicate process, and Ledah doesn't want to break the string, but eventually he unwinds it.]

Thank you. [She flexes her hand for a moment and makes sure the string is straightened out, before turning the kite towards the wind and making sure the right side of it is facing the wind, and then throwing it up into the air. A quick pull on the string, and there is now one kite flying in the air.]
