[Today is April's birthday, and while April has never even really celebrated her birthday before, she thought that after that whole 'fighting with your doubles and face your issues' thing, it would be nice to have a bit of fun. So, she decides to buy one new dress for herself (since it's thick enough to protect against the cold), and also decides to buy this thing called a 'kite'. It had caught her eye when she was walking past the store and after asking the store owner about it, it sounded like it could be fun.

So, she's found a large-ish open area in the park and is now trying to fly the kite. 'Try' being the keyword here since she manages to keep it in the air for a while before it crashes into a nearby tree... o-or into anybody nearby. So if you're in the park today and see a kite crash land into a tree or get whacked in the back of the head by a kite, the sheepish looking redhead is the reason behind it.]

[Miki while wandering around town watches April trying to fly the kite.]

Wow, I haven't seen anyone fly a kite in a long time. I thought that they were able to stay up longer though.

Yeah, I'm not too good at this. I'll get better with practice though. [And she gives a small sigh when the kite seems to want to stay in the tree.]

[Miki giggles a bit at April's misfortune then goes over to help her untangle the kite.]

Well the secret is you gotta run really fast to get it going.

[And the kite is soon freed from the tree.] Ah, thanks. And I'm not sure if I can run fast enough.

[She wears a leg brace, so she's never been a fast runner, which sucks.]

[Well Miki has never notices that before, NOW SHE JUST FEELS BAD.]

Ahheh, yeah. We-

[Miki stops suddenly in the middle of her phrase and smiles gleefully and advances towards April, looking as if she is going to pick her up.]

I have an idea!

{It's alright Miki, it's not really something that's noticeable in the first place. And April just blinks at Miki, but she doesn't back away and instead tilts her head curiously.]

Huh? What is it?

[Moving swiftly, Miki crouches down and grabs April's legs in an attempt to haul her onto her back.]

We're gonna make you run fast.

(I have no idea how big April is in relation to Miki. Miki's pretty strong as it it, but if April's, like, a foot taller, this may end in tragedy.)

[April is pretty short, only about 5'1" and she's light for her height as well, so it should be easy enough for Miki to pick her up.

She is just gonna squeak and flail a bit.]

H-huh?! Wait, what?!

[Miki takes off into the wind with April on her back. She's holding on pretty tightly to April's legs, so really it's a matter of if April can hold on to the kite.]

[OHGOD WHOA. Luckily April can keep a hold onto the kite, so now the kite is soaring through the air. And judging by the laughter coming from her, she seems to be enjoying this.]

[Miki continues running through the park with April for a few minutes lauging along with her. Soon, they come near a picnic table, and Miki makes a beeline for it, grabbing on as tightly to April's legs as possible, as if she were planning something.]

[Whoa wait what. April keeps a hold on the kite, and looks curious as to why they were heading towards a picnic table.]

[Because they are going to JUMP IT.

As they get within yard of the thing and Miki soars over the faded table like a squirrel diving from one tree to the next.]

[OH GOOOOOD.

There's a small squeak of surprise when Miki jumps it, before she bursts into laughter and some cheering. Yep, she's enjoying this.]

[After stumbling a few steps after the jump Miki walks back over to the bench and plops down on the seat, letting April get off on the tabletop.]

*huff huff* Ok, I think that's about all *huff* I can do for now.
