Well, it's an island, but there are boats and planes like normal. The problem is, even if you go back to where your home should theoretically be, you won't find anyone you know or any of what should be there. None of our friends and family's phone numbers will work, and this seems to be the focal point for what's going on.

So what's with these things, anyway? Is there some big boss controlling them? Or are they just wandering around looking for dinner?

We're not sure. We know that there are larger Shadows that can command the smaller ones, and we're fairly sure that what brought us here also controls the larger Shadows.

Wait, hang on. If the thing that brought us here controls the shadows, and we fight the shadows, why did it bring us here in the first place?

And why give us persona to fight the shadow's with?

To prove ourselves? I suppose it's an option.

Oh, so maybe the shadows are just a test? And if you pass there's some bigger threat to deal with?

That's my current theory. We really have no hard proof of anything.

I guess the only way to find out if that's true is to beat enough shadows to prove yourself. To... whoever...

Actually, are we sure that the shadows are all part of the same group?

...We're not sure of much of anything, but they don't attack each other.
