On a subject not related to Diarmuid-nii.

What holidays do you have at home? There's talk of Christmas here, of course, but I realize that not everyone may have a similar holiday in their world. I'd love to hear more about different cultures and religions - it's one of my greatest areas of interest.

Also, should we have a Christmas party, assuming that circumstances allow it?

Best I can hope for, under the circumstances.

Got any other neat holidays where a guy punched the supernatural in the face back home?

Most of the supernaturals friendly, then? ...Which reminds me to make sure I'm remembering your home-nation correctly... Japan, right?

Suppose that's why it's the supernatural. If you saw it every day, it'd become the mundane, instead.

I'll take that to mean they aren't all benevolent. And I'll assume they're not all as rude as a river-flooding dragon would be.

No two people are exactly alike -- well no, there are, but those cases are the minority, I guess. [Like Devola herself, even.]

You're saying that spirits and stuff are just as varied?

[identity profile] skaldssong.livejournal.com 2011-12-26 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Er, is that a metaphor for the sake of an easy topic transition, or do you mean some people here really are spirits?

Wait, the people from the Grail War thingies?

...I mean, I get that people are bona-fide humans when they arrive here, but I can't see Diarmuid or Saber or any of them as anything but a human, y'know?

[identity profile] skaldssong.livejournal.com 2011-12-28 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
I guess that makes sense... so, instead of being completely resurrected, they were more like ghosts or phantoms for that war?

[identity profile] skaldssong.livejournal.com 2011-12-28 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
That makes it sound more and more like a downer. No physical form, but they've got to fight one another? All for just a wish, you said?

[identity profile] skaldssong.livejournal.com 2011-12-29 04:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, for something as vague as a wish I can see why people would do it, but...

...Well, is it only one wish? Who gets it? The master? Seems unfair.

[identity profile] skaldssong.livejournal.com 2011-12-31 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd hope it's two, because someone'd be out a wish and I doubt the Servants would win, in that regard...

[identity profile] skaldssong.livejournal.com 2012-01-01 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Mn. Say, how do you know so much about that? Were you one of those 'masters' or something?

[identity profile] skaldssong.livejournal.com 2012-01-05 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh, Shirou was? ...Never would've guessed.

Thanks for enlightening me on the topic, on that note. I doubt it's necessary learning, but... It's good to know about your comrades circumstances, right?
